Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in North Carolina

Decided to come here after receiving a few coupons for this new opening. It has been a long time since we have ordered anything from a Jersey Mike's as there hasn't been a location nearby until now. I ordered a meatball sub and a regular classic philly cheesesteak. As I was ordering the meatball sub I asked for my sandwhich to be toasted and was told the closest way they can do it is by microwaving it. I hesitantly went with it, but hello? You guys are known for sandwhiches and can't even toast them? So I got the sandwhiches and it was less than desirable. My sandwhich didn't have oregano like I had asked for and the amount of meat inside both sandwhiches was very miniscule. Meatballs cut in half and the sandwhich was drowning in sauce to make up for the lack of meat. The philly cheesesteak was more bread than anything and there was barely any cheese. I regularly order this same exact order from the Harris Teeter right behind this location and it is so much more desirable for pretty much every reason. They offer double the length at a lower price, use full meatfulls and fully fill up the inside, have a variety of bread to choose from unlike Jersey Mike's, is willing to toast it for you(and they usually ask), with the VIC card after enough sub purchases you will get a free sub, and I am able to order and walk out of HT in a more timely fashion. I see little reason to choose Jersey Mikes over Harris Teeter for sandwhiches other than using the coupons we were mailed. The sandwhiches were edible and we finished them, but finished them wanting more because there wasn't much to eat to begin with. This property has a wanton disregard for the health and safety of its customers. My son and I entered the store yesterday wearing face masks. North Carolina is one of the sates on the rise in Covid-19 hospitalizations. While the staff wore masks the clients did not. Social distancing was marked but not enforced. About a half dozen young people came in and bunched together without distancing nor wearing masks. Nobody even mentioned it to them. Two young people came into the store carrying Bojangles food and drink. They sat down in the area designated for pick-up. The area is very close to the beverage area. They ate their Bojangles and forced everyone else to put their masks on. They never purchased a Jersey Mike's product and left after finishing their Bojangles food. I called the owner (at least he said he was) to complain. He basically ignored what I had to say, defended the right of people to eat Bojangles in his store (very curious) and arrogantly thanked me for coming in that afternoon. I will never return to that store and I have contacted Jersey Mike's national headquarters. If corporate allows franchisees to contradict their Covid-19 mission statement I guess I will boycott...

I’ve never had an issue with this location until today. I tried using their app , made my order and paid in full so my husband could just pick up easily since we have a new born at home. First I get a call from a young man telling me that one of my four sandwiches cannot be made since their truck was late which was disappointing but understandable. I asked him to hold on so I could look for another sandwich, he then starts to call me sir which is very offensive since I am clearly a woman. I didn’t answer him since at first I thought he was speaking to someone else, he then hangs up on me. I was very upset at this point and called back to speak to a supervisor. The same young man picks up and jokingly asked a man by the name of Daniel if he’s a supervisor which I thought was very u professional. I spoke to him and told him what happened, he says they have the steak for my sandwich not to worry and that he will speak to the other guy. I am beyond disappointed with how I was treated here today. Rude isn’t the word. The GM or owner needs to fire this young man for how he treats the customers. It’s appalling to say the least and I won’t be frequenting this store again...
