First let’s start with Salsarita’s is a Moe’s/Chipotle type restaurant. These are good places to go when you are looking for fresh Mexican type food fast. This place was a train wreck when we visited, which is unusual given the simplistic design of them. When we stepped in the door it was apparent that they had an AC issue given the temperature was easily over 80 degrees inside. We were greeted by an employee asking what we wanted the whole time looking sideways at her comrades. This lack of greeting set the stage for what was to follow, three more times we were ask by the same person “what was it again you wanted”. In the middle of the “assembly line” build of our meal there was a disagreement about a task in the restaurant that needed to be completed, this brought everything on the line to a halt. Well the issue got worked out (I think) and yes we were asked again “Ok now what did you get”. By this point our food was cold and the queso was beginning to firm up. Cash register time, yep you guessed it had to inform what we got again, and her response “we have no ice do you still want your drinks?”. Now this is a training moment, how about “Sorry folks our ice machine isn’t working so we are not charging you for your drinks” just a thought! Got to the dining room and surprise many of the tables were dirty. So once we cleaned a spot we sat down for our meal. Ok so far pretty bad experience, but then what happened next I couldn’t believe. They started bringing bagged ice in and throwing it on the dirty floor in front of the drink machine. Picking them up one by one and slamming them on the floor to bust up the ice (this by the way normally breaks these cheap plastic bags that were put right back down on the dirty now wet floor). It was at this point I said they are not going to put that ice into the dispenser, I WAS WRONG! Bags were picked up from the floor and one by one put down the chute of the dispenser and shook until empty. I thought this cannot get worse, they proved me wrong again because after a couple of bags the ice began to pile up. This was easily solved by the employee putting their ungloved dirty hands into the bin to smooth the ice out, the couple across from us also watching got up and left like they were late to be somewhere! There were some glaring safety items too but that isn’t really relevant here. Everything here is due to poor management and procedural accountability (during this shift 6.22.18 7PM). When things are going sideways your employees should understand how to maneuver through the issues without a sacrifice in customer service. If you are customer/client facing game face is always on even if everything else behind the scenes is falling apart. I used to work right up the road from it and am now 2 exits down, but I have still been ordering to-go and picking it up once a week. Not anymore, I will drive the extra miles to Chipotle or find something else. Over the last 3 times I have ordered online for pick up my food has not been done or even started when I arrived, it has been wrong, the lettuce was brown, the fajita veggies weren't cooked at all, the rice was still hard, added sauce not on the order, and I was ignored by an employee and manager. I continued to keep trying because I have always enjoyed their food and service, and hoped these were flukes, but apparently this is the new normal and I will not continue to waste my money here.

Read morePlace was absolutely filthy when asked if they could clean a table so we can sit in and eat. They had an attitude about it saying that it was cleaned earlier that morning. The outside trash can had trash all over the outside so we couldn't sit out there either. They also had ice in a bucket with a spoon for each individual customer to take their own ice out of a open bucket for their drinks. The ice machine was not working. This was just disgusting. They didn't want to clean a table off. I requested that I get my money back immediately. I see that on your page it says that they clean in between. That is a straight up lie. The entire place was nasty. All the tables were dirty as I searched for a clean spot to eat. I cannot patronize a business that don't care about other people's health obviously.
