The person at the front was extremely unpleasant and should not work customer facing. Their resting face was uninviting, and their tone was stand off-ish. See photos, I chose a cup that specifically said 30% off so when we rung it up, I simply asked. In her defense she wasn’t sure, so she grabbed another person. Who unpleasantly said “it’s not on sale- it was simply put in the wrong spot.” I can accept that answer if someone simply misplaced it. But to have 2 more cups put on that same shelf is misleading. I come to Starbucks a lot- not this one. Which I will not be coming back. After they said that it was put in the wrong spot, I told them that it was disappointing but I am still going to purchase. The original person then gives me a look for being disappointed. And has a tone to her voice “What else?”. At this point and as someone who works with people, deflect the situation and just be nice. I then ordered my coffee and felt uncomfortable, after that she looks at me and says “well there’s nothing we can do about the cup” which I thought we moved on but she kept beating it into the ground. In an extremely rude tone she says “What is your name?” I stated I have the app and that’s not necessary. She scans and immediately walks away. I understand it’s the holiday season, and they’re BUSY. Completely get it, I have grace in my heart for people who work customer facing. Her attitude was uncalled for, and quite frankly I think it’s just her personality. Read moreWAIT TIME: Let me preface this by saying that I don't frequent Starbucks...I go once every blue moon. That being said, unless I'm really lucky, I get my drink in under 7 minutes anytime I do go. Here, I was here for 30 minutes, precisely; which, I think is ridiculousness. If I've been lucky and this is "normal," disregard this portion. QUALITY: I've been getting the Caramel Ribbon Crunch, lately. Pic 1 is what I received from this place (& that is AFTER I said it looks vastly different, and they added extra caramel). Pic 2 is what I normally receive from another Starbucks. In comparing the two, I think they gave me a regular Caramel Frappuccino insert eye roll. On top of that, the one I got from here (Pic 2) was liquid-y and very "white." Which indicates to me that there was a lot of milk/cream used, & much less coffee and ice. I know that Pic 2 has more vibrance from the sun, but trust me, it was still more brown (coffee balanced). CUSTOMER SERVICE: The young lady helping me was extremely nice, apologized for the wait, and even offered to remake my drink. I didn't wanna be a hassle, so I said no, but she was nice about it.
LAST NOTE: I also particularly don't care for the establishments who "trap" you in once you enter the drive-thru. I would have definitely pulled off after about 10 minutes and no forward movement, but...
Read moreI went through the drive thru today and from start to finish it was the best experience I’ve ever had at any starbucks. I have ADHD and often mess up my own orders when I have to say them verbally so I usually stick to mobile orders. I almost messed up my order by not asking for it iced, but the barista taking my order asked if I wanted it iced or hot. That helped me so much because my order was perfect and I got what I was intending to order. I also forgot to reload my starbucks card on the app before I left the house so I was struggling when it was time to pay for my order. The barista taking my payment was so unbelievably nice and understanding. My phone wouldn't cooperate, then the app logged me out, and then I couldn’t remember my password to get back into the app. They were making lighthearted conversation and it made me feel so much better about being a hot mess. What normally would’ve caused me a lot of anxiety felt so easy. I always have great experiences at this location but today especially. Both of the baristas today were absolutely wonderful, and I hope this reaches them and they are recognized for being amazing. I am kicking myself for not remembering anyones names, but I hope you see this and know how much you made my day, and I'll never forget the extra amount of kindness...
