Hats off to JERRY AND REUBEN, workers who not only gave great service with respect even though the restaurant appeared to be somewhat short staffed. Both of these workers took initiative to step up and HELP the customers, with very satisfactory service. Mr. Jerry was dealt a bad hand (he had just clocked in for his shift) with a irritated customer who honestly only showed his own đ. He came through the doors with a attitude wanting and trying to challenge everybody in his path to a argument. He complained about the kiosk menu for sometime before he started making a scene looking for help. Mr. Jerry without hesitation stepped out from his duties to help him. It was obvious that the man was only out looking for a argument. Mr. Jerry was very calm in helping him before he stepped away. The man preceded to punch buttons on the kiosk and then started complaining again with vulgar language. He went to the counter, again, looking for a confrontation (and provoking) with Jerry. He claimed that he was charged twice at the kiosk. Mr. Jerry, very calmly refunded the man without incident all while being bad mouthed by the man. The man asked if his money was refunded and when Mr. Jerry replied yes, the man threatened him that it had better be or he was coming after him. Mr. Jerry showed true leadership and how to appropriately handle conflict in a situation such as this even if he would have HAD to handle things differently. We would have had his back. I honestly hope that the man who was obviously out looking for a confrontation with someone has found himself some peace at home alone as I don't think that there are many people like Mr. Jerry who could take charge, diffuse and handle the situation to a point of nobody getting hurt. He might just find himself in the middle of a provoked confrontation that he didn't want to be in. My husband and I are out of towner's however we will choose this establishment again when traveling through. Thank You McDonald's for finally making it possible to give you a Good Review! Hire more Jerry's and...
Read moreI really do not want to be the one to leave a negative review on a Sunday. This was my first time ordering from this McDonaldâs location. It was my wedding anniversary & we wanted to eat before I dropped my spouse off at work & before I went to church.
We ordered far ahead of time but waited 30+ minutes for our order. I just feel like if there was going to be a delay, that should have been communicated with me & we could have made arrangements elsewhere. Instead what we witnessed was the order taker stating, âIâll be with you in 1 second.â We waited 15 minutes just waiting to give him the code for our order. Meanwhile, 3 cars on the left passed us by.
It was frustrating because years ago I used to work at McDonalds on College Park under Mr. Jimmy. So I get it. They were probably short staffed. My guess was there was maybe 2 staff working or the others were on their break. I would have went back there & helped make hash-browns. I even keep non-slip shoes in my car. I am a first responder now, & a member of a community service fraternity. I am more than happy to help where I am needed. I could have helped make drinks, take orders, even if it was for only 30 minutes just to help these employees get caught up.
I will give credit where credit is due. The hash browns were hot & fresh. The McGriddles & the iced coffee were good.
Sadly, my spouse had been craving a Carmel Frappe. We looked at a good chunk of the McDonalds that were on her way to work just for this item. We left with plenty of time to be able to get to McDonalds, get my spouse to work on time & be able to eat together. We arrived at this McDonalds around 9:20am. We did not receive our food until 9:54am. My spouse needed to get to work by 10am. My spouse sadly ended up late for work. We paid for the food & didnât want to leave.
The whole time I was thinking âMan, I should have just ordered my food at Chick-fil-aâ but they are closed on Sundayâs but I also trying not to support their business due to who they support...
Read moreWent here after working 1030am to 1230am on a saturday night. Nobody answered at the drive through. I pulled up to a window... where I was promptly ignored as a woman was counting cash. After a few minutes she opened the window and told me to hold on a moment because the system was down. She shut the window and I waited. I could hear her through the window asking someone else what she should do. She continued counting cash silently. Still ignoring me. After another 5 or 10 minutes goes by. She opens the window and tells me to pull back around. I hear a man yelling not to do that. She asks me to wait again, closes the window and walks away. A man storms up the window. Rips it open and goes on a tirade about how the woman tols me to pull up. I interrupt him to tell him she never said that. She only asked me to wait. He states I am only there running up the timer. He said that she told me to pull up. I interjected again. She never asked me to pull up, only to wait. The man gets angrier about how I am running up the timer when they cant take my order. I held up my hand and said if you cant take orders why would i pull up to park. The man tried to cut me off. I said i would grab food elsewhere. He slammed the window shut and i could still hear him ranting as i put my car in drive. I went to a different McDonald's. They confirmed all window areas are recorded. I hope our interaction was recorded and is used as training material for how not to treat people. Im not sure if the man assumed what the woman was telling me or if the woman was telling me and the man 2 different things. Either way i believe this is an issue that really needs to be addressed by management. At this point I am considering going back at a later date to discuss the interaction. I believe in people treating others with respectand kindness even if your having a bad day. This was...
