Came there yesterday to get a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit for me and my wife. It was two girls there at the counter one black girl and one white girl. The black girl was very nice and had a beautiful smile. The white girl was very nice as well got my food left and went home. Got home to find out that they forgot the meat on our biscuit so my wife went back up there to get the issue fixed as soon as she get there she wasn’t greeted it was just one white girl with the nose piercing at the counter she went up there to explain the issue The girl was very rude and smart mouthing my wife saying I didn’t order meat and was tryna to charge us for two new biscuit but then just gave me to sausage patties not very good to me that’s very unprofessional my wife asked for the manager and she told het she was the manager to me I find that hilarious because she thinks she could just talk to anybody any type of way because she’s the manager and that is not right. I spent my hard working money on something and I would like it right so I don’t know if it’s her first managing job but being rude Was not cool. I would definitely be Coming back but I will be going to the West Ashley location so I won’t have to deal with...
Read moreI was so excited to try this place after seeing so many people rave about it and having it recommended to me by a coworker. I was fully ready to make this my new breakfast spot as it’s only 5 mins away from me. We went this morning and were highly disappointed. The food was hot and fresh, which was great. Every single item we received was bland. The biscuit was large! but it was very dark and thick and dry. The sausage gravy tasted like thick hot milk, no flavor at all, the sausage chunks in it didn’t even taste like anything. The eggs were very cheesy! Which I love but the absolute lack of any salt or pepper on anything was a shame. The only thing I enjoyed was the home fries. Overall it tasted like cafeteria food and was not worth almost $40 for one platter (no drink included), one single biscuit sandwich and a bottle of apple juice. Not sure if we caught them on a bad morning, but as a biscuit lover I was highly upset and did not even...
Read moreI'm not a big reviewer but I had to say something about this place. Very good food and friendly staff. The biscuits are massive. I don't know if the guy was a manager or an owner but when we walked up he was sitting outside at the tables meeting with someone and he got up welcomed us and opened the door. What a great welcome and the food turned out amazing. I've been back twice. Only thing I'll say is please try in the future to open up at 6am. This Dorchester Rd corridor doesn't play games in the AM especially when school is in. It can take you an hour to get from this location to the air force base 4.5 miles down the road if you don't beat the traffic window. Same goes for getting down Ashley phosphate. It will deter people from stopping for breakfast because they will get tied up in really bad traffic....
