Went here with one car ahead of me today at noon. Placed my first order of two no problems. Waited for cashier to come back on speaker so I could place my second order. Waited 5mins without a may I help you or I'll be right with you. Said hello and excuse me a few more times for an additional 10-15mins. Grant it there was a line of cars behind me too. Still nothing, I don't know if they cashier was just not paying attention or too busy socializing. Regardless we pulled up and waited to see if we could pick up our first order and place the second one. Saw someone order their food as we were pulling up to window at the outdoor dining area. Their food was out in like 2mins, we still hadn't received our first food order. Then the car hop comes out with an order of two hamburgers and a slushie again not my order. The car behind me get's that order. At this point I drove off because I only get a 30min lunch and was going to be late getting back. Drove across the street to Cook Out and within 5-8mins I had placed my order, paid, and picked up my food at the window. SHAME ON YOU SONIC! Management needs to work on their lunch service for sure. This was unacceptable. Will not be returned to this Sonic location. You chould learn something from your two Goose Creek locations...
Read morePulled up the the drive thru around 825-830pm on 2/10. Ordered a Chili Cheese Number 6 with medium tots and a large coke. Simple right? Apparently not for these guys. They quoted my total around 2 dollars. Told them that wasn't quite right and they repeated the order back correctly so I figured ok maybe I didnt hear it right. Pulled around and waited about 15 minutes with one of the car hops asking what my order was. Told them 3 times. THREE TIMES what my order was. The third time the girl had come out with a pad and pencil to write it down. She comes back a minute later and takes my card to charge for the food. Now I'm sitting there thinking alright I'm about to get my food and go it's been 20-25 minutes at this point. NOPE, WRONG. The manager comes out and says it will be an additional 9 minute wait for the hot dog because they are closing early for maintenance. Seriously? I've been waiting almost a half an hour already and now you're telling me that? Why wasnt anything mentioned when I ordered the food? Why did you charge my card and THEN tell me about the prolonged wait? I dont even want a refund or anything from y'all. Keep the money, I hope you can use it to hire some more competent people. We place our order and they tell us they’re working on the ice cream machine so we wait. 20 minutes go by and we ask if it’s ready to order. The lady was not happy that we had waited all this time apparently and was basically convincing us not to order because they had “six order before” ours (I felt like a burden to someone who wants my business). THIRTY MINUTES AGO BY.... and we still haven’t received our order so my husband asks them if our order was about ready. The lady, with an attitude of course, interrupts his sentence and asks “what’s your order?” so he tells her. She claims “I was just out there and there was no one!” Which is funny because we haven’t moved our parked car since 8 PM!!! She, instead of accommodating us, argues with him that we weren’t there and that we had lied about moving our car. It is right now 8:59 pm and we still don’t have our blasts.
