Wannamaker Park North Charleston SC — Attraction in North Charleston

Wannamaker Park is truly one of Charleston’s best-kept treasures! The park is beautifully maintained, clean, and full of natural beauty everywhere you look. It’s the perfect place for the whole family — there’s plenty for kids to explore, wide open spaces and trails for dogs, and peaceful spots for adults to relax and enjoy the scenery.

The walking and biking paths are smooth and well-marked, the playgrounds are fantastic, and everything feels safe and welcoming. You can tell the park staff really take pride in keeping it in great shape.

The water park looks like a great summer destination, we will be back to try it...

Great local park. Naturally it gets pretty busy on the weekends. I only have it four stars because I don’t like the fact that the water park is within this park. Not that I have anything against water parks but “Whirling Waters” is outrageously expensive, and I don’t know why North Charleston consented to allowing it on their property. I guess they receive some revenue for it, but honestly they should have said no from the get go. Otherwise the park itself is terrific. Just don’t get run over by the park attendants who drive around too fast on their golf carts and...

Nice trails, both paved and raw earth trails! Multiple trails available that are marked by color squares mounted on trees at various locations and site maps are also spread throughout to make sure you don't get lost while enjoying ur nature excursion.
