My friend and I met her for dinner, the first time we'd eaten there, and we had the weirdest experience. I arrived first and sat myself as the sign indicated. I waited about ten minutes before my friend also arrived, and in that time not a single staff member approached me to inquire about my party number, drink order, or to provide a menu. After my friend arrived, we waited another five minutes before one of the waiters saw us trying to catch attention. She brought us menus and said our server would be with us shortly. Our server did come to use and ask for our drink orders, and then she disappeared. After another ten minutes, we flagged someone down to take our order. I think it was the manager, something that just happened by coincidence. Our server came back to get our food order. My friend and I were in the middle of a conversation, leaning across the table as we both talked animatedly (I just got married so it was probably wedding related) when our server unexpectedly, silently, and rudely set our appetizer down by passing it right between our faces. My friend and I were shocked, and the waitress walked away without saying anything. At this point, my friend and I questioned if our choice to eat here was a good choice. Shortly after, our dinners were delivered (in a much nicer manner) and the food was delicious. I don't think we we're ever offered a refill on our drinks. When we started to finish up our meal, the waitress came by and tidied up, taking our dishes away. We sat there waiting for a check. (We joked that we could just dash and dine, because clearly no one was paying us any attention.) When it became apparent that our waiter has abandoned us again, we just pulled our credit cards out and set them at the edge of the table. Shortly after, our waitress came over and said "don't worry about it, guys, your meal has been taken care of." No other explanation was given, and our free meal is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars and not 2. I will return to eat again, but only because the...
Read moreThis place isn't fancy, it's a tavern with food that's slightly better than ordinary and friendly service. We rank the atmosphere high because they have options to choose from. When you walk in there is a relatively quiet area we call the family seats; the next area is the bar with surrounding tables; keep walking and you get to the game room that also has plenty of tables for eating; the final area is the large patio where they have live bands and lots of tables (but this does fill up when there is a band.) There are also 3 areas for groups, which can often be reserved without a fee. The first is off the family seating area, the second is off the bar area and the last is an elevated section of the patio. One caveat is that the patio does not have table service, we ordered food at the bar to eat outside, but it's not ideal. They have about a dozen beers on tap, and many more in cans and bottles. There are TVs, but the volume isn't blaring. The free parking can get crowded on weekend nights since there are 3 other restaurant/bars, one brewery and a dance club...
Read moreThis is a rare find kind of place every one there like family. Even though it's a bar it actually has a homey feeling comfortable atmosphere friendly employee's and the owner is a genuine nice person. Food is really good too and They have a nice variety to chooses from. They also have live bands. It is a normal place not too loud no weirdos they have a lot to offer although I would say it is more for the 40+ crowd which is what I liked so much about it so few places left like this. I am so sick of the too loud bands and the "stranger" young crowd. You can feel at ease here and relax. They also have different kinds of clubs that meet here not sure what all they r but one is a gamers club. And I mean board games not computer games I think there r more variety of clubs that meet in different nights. U would have to call to find out. This is also a great place for private parties they have a couple of rooms set up different ways to accommodate different kinds of...
