Breakfast Nook — Restaurant in North Kingstown

This is a beautiful gem in NK. There's a number of places to go and have a decent breakfast, but the Nook has all its bases covered. From food and value, to staff and service, everything is fantastic!

Service is a MUST anywhere I go, especially with a client (I'm a DSP). We used to frequent a different establishment, but value went down and the way they treated my client was rude. We made the switch and haven't looked back. We go weekly and not once has there been an issue with anything. We walk in and are greeted by name and huge smiles. Both Patty and Kelly are super friendly and always up for a little chit chat. Patty has a wonderful rapport with my client and she greets them with a warm hug, always with permission. She has patience and allows them to take their time.

Now the food... Yum! If you're craving a home cooked type breakfast, this is the place. I do my best to switch things up a bit, but the hash is addictive. I have sampled just about everything so that I could this review, and have been pleasantly surprised. We have been there a time or two for lunch and it's just as good. The burgers are absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Everything comes out fresh, hot, and just the way you like it. The value for the price is phenomenal regardless of which meal you are there for.

Been coming here for a long time if I wanted breakfast takeout. The prices were always good and the wait service was great. This last time I went (it wasnt as busy as other times) we ordered takeout (we live 3 min away). The food was nice and hot but they forgot to add onions to our home fries. No biggie, so we called and they were sure tiny onion bits were added. Normally, any other business would say "No problem, just bring it back and we can swap it out - so you dont return home to a cold breakfast" Since the price jumped from 8 to 11 for the special, I figured they would do that. Instead they dumped hot onions on the home fries and I got home to cold bacon, eggs and my dogs were very pleased because I was pretty bummed out they did that when they didnt seem the type of place known to do that. The breakfast nook is my favorite breakfast restaurant that I know of. The reason that I love breakfast nook so much is because they have the best eggs benedict that I have ever had from any restaurant. The breakfast nook grills their their English muffins nicely. Then they have a nice piece of sweet ham that's been grilled. Followed by a slice of American cheese. A beautifully cooked poached egg topped with the most delicious hollandaise sauce. It's truly a decadent breakfast at the breakfast nook. You get two with plenty of hollandaise sauce. Most restaurants don't grill the muffins or their hollandaise is weak. This place has it on point.

Everything else I've had is lumberjack size and on point. Don't be fooled by the name, it's a cozy little place... You'll love it. If I am in the area in the a.m. I'll definitely schedule time to stop in for breakfast. This place...
