I felt impelled to hop on here and leave a review about my experience at The Nail Bar with Liz Charpentier. I am a busy mom who rarely makes time for self care. Throughout the years i’ve occasionally had my nails done from time to time but it was never something I consistently kept up with until recently.

From the moment I walked into the Nail Bar I was taken back by how beautiful it was. Not your typical walk-in nail salon where everyone is staring at you when you enter and listening to you explain which service you came in for. This was a private and truly relaxing space. You could feel Liz’s positive energy throughout the entire salon.

Liz was extremely professional and helped me pick out nail art I would have never thought of. She was patient and listened to me when I expressed styles I didn’t want and colors I needed incorporated for an upcoming photoshoot. I trusted her skills and was confident she envisioned exactly what I was trying to explain. Prior to booking at the nail bar I scrolled through Liz’s social media account to see some of her work. I was happy to see her trendy nail art, happy clients and returning clients having their gel manicures last FOUR weeks or more.

Being a mom of three the time to get out of my daily routine and do something for myself is limited. Liz is a business owner and mother of three also. She truly understands the importance of self care and maximizes your precious time to yourself! I was able to talk with her and really recharge in a nonjudgmental environment. Liz has created such a beautiful, comfortable and personalized space for all of her clients. I've been getting my nails done with Liz for over a year now. She's the best at what she does. In the past I had a nail tech for 3 years and was told my nails just couldn't handle being long because they would always break. I gave up. When I was ready to try again I was referred to Liz. Low and behold I have long nails that NEVER break, or chip. Who knew!? Her space is clean, fun and energetic. My favorite thing about the place? No kids allowed. Do I want to get my nails done and have kids running around, touching everything all sticky, wet, and whining. No. Do I love kids? Yes, but this is MY time. When I come for my appointment it's like a mini girls day. The entire staff is adorable, fun loving and they have personality which I LOVE! From day one I felt like I could come in and just be my authentic self. If you're looking for a boring place that plays elevator music and the tech doesn't interact with you than this place isn't for you and p.s the walk in places are everywhere so have at it. I absolutely love this nail shop. My hairdresser recommended this place six months ago after I went to three other nail shops and was not very happy with the work that they did. My nails were short brittle and we’re not growing because of the gel that was used at the other shops however, since coming here my nails are stronger they grow longer and whatever they use for the gel does not ruin my nails, and I absolutely love the vibe in the shop. It’s a nice place to get away from the world and just enjoy some good laughs here. Everyone share their stories. It’s just a really nice welcoming Environment. Very professional and amazing art skills from all of the nail artists in the shop! I love when other customers show their nails around to all the other nail technicians because I get to see what amazing work they all do. I also love that I’m not originally from the area and since coming here, everyone is so nice and they treat me as if though I’m a local and I’ve been here my whole life and you just don’t get that everywhere!
