McDonald's — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

Nice restaurant...I highly recommend not eating there. Went there with my husband and was hoping to have a great time. We were given the food pretty fast. My husband's straw fell on the ground and the manager expected him to use it insisting it was fine. Tried to eat the food. We ordered 2 cheeseburger combos for both of us. My first burger had so much pepper you couldn't eat it. When he went up and spoke to the manager he was told that all mcdonalds use pepper. Never was offered a sorry do you want me to remake it? The second one I tried also had huge amounts of pepper but it was also very burnt and dry. My husband had me try one of his and it too was very burnt and dry. The burger reminded me of the super fake meat I would get on a burger in school as a kid but much worse. When I asked for extra Ketchup I was given 3 small packets. Honestly there is not enough Ketchup in this world to make those burgers edible. The food tasted very old like it was probably cooked that morning or the day before. I ended up eating a couple fries because that was all that was edible. We have never been to a McDonald's and had such bad food. I highly recommend not eating here. *update * went back to give it one more shot everyone has a bad day. Went in and ordered on the screen. Wanted a happy meal. The screen doesn't let you choose a toy for anyone older than a toddler, and all kids drinks were out of stock except their unsweetened tea unless you upgrade to a bigger drink and when you do that you can't pick what you want. Every table was very dirty and my husband went to get a rag to wipe one down with. He stood up front for 30 min and no one ever came up from the back. When they did it was because our food was finally ready. Asked for a rag and was never given one. We had to choose which table was less dirty. Went to throw our garbage away and had to leave it on the top of the garage can because it was so full. Luckily the food wasn't as bad but now we really will never go back. Saw a pregnant lady who clearly had to pee. She had to stand up front for 15 min before they ever...

As I was sitting inside this establishment this morning while eating and enjoying my Big Breakfast plate with extra hash brown and a large orange juice, I started to feel something SUPER REFRESHING... it was the customer service. I don't know if this had anything to do with what appeared to be the big bosses in the building, but I really hope this trend continues.

As soon as I walked in I was instantly greeted by a very pleasant young man who was so eager to help me out while I was trying to place my order on the kiosk. My mistake was that I failed to allow him to do so :( When my food was ready, he was the one who brought my tray to my table and asked if there was anything else he could get me. One minor thing was that they forgot to put utensils on my tray (but I'll get over it). He always came around to check up on my table throughout my visit, which I thought was very nice, and also very rare. There was also a young woman who came around to check and make sure everything was ok at my table or if I need anything else. At the end of my meal the young woman asked me if she could clear off my table and dispose of all my trash for me. Again, I failed to allow her to do so. :(

The point I'm trying to make is that the service and standard for McDonald's has deteriorated throughout the years and has become a new norm. When we do get lucky and are blessed with good service, we no longer know how to act and receive it. My hats go off to the young man and young woman who made my visit today very pleasant. 12.09.23 10pm - 1030pm - THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!! I ordered 3 happy meals, filet meal and a cheeseburger. The cashier never gave me a receipt and now I understand why, no receipt no survey code! GET A RECEIPT I waited 25 minutes for my food. When I finally received it they missed the cheeseburger and waited another 5 minutes!!! I walked in to get it myself. I found NO ONE working the line prepping food and all the staff sitting around talking as if they were on break. The 1st time I said hello they looked at me and ignored me. The 2nd time i said a louder hello their response was “no free food!” The 3rd shout hello some “manager” finally scrambles to the front. I waited 25 minutes!!! If I’m waiting this long for McDonald’s I’m expecting hot fresh crispy fries and nuggets and a nice steam bun for my filet. NOPE!! Fries were soggy & old.
