I just recently discovered this place and I do love it, the tea is awesome, but I have to point out one big issue because I'm unbiased and honest. The vegan bowl.. that is NOT how you prepare tofu. That's what all non-vegans think tofu is, which is why they hate it so much. I just spent $20+ on a great tea with a good Asian veg/rice bowl, but with unprepared tofu. When made properly, it tastes like good food, not tofu. If you don't know what to do with it, just sear it in a skillet with some sauce. Easy, and it doesn't come out squishy or bland. No one wants their food topped with tofu because they just like the taste of tofu, not even if they like it squishy. NO one. If anyone says they like the way that tofu was prepared, they're straight up lying just because they like the place, not because anyone would find it tasty. May as well have topped my vegan bowl with molding putty.
If the owner pops up to call me rude, expect to lose stars. Everyone can't afford to spend that much on food that isn't made well. The rest was good, but I have a right to be irritated that you put zero effort into the one vegan meat substitute option.
I'll be back, but only...
Read moreToday was my first day ever going into Bobalicious. I walk in and greeted with a warm and friendly hello. I walk up to the counter looking at the menu. I think the lady could sense that I'm new and needed assistance. So she walked me through it. I ended up getting a salmon bowl and a tornado boba. When I tell you that they both were delicious. The tornado was so good with the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Let's talk about this bowl. The bowl is HUGE! I being unemployed with very little income think that it's worth the money. I could probably get 2 meals out of that one bowl and I'm a big girl. I hadn't find a place here in Arkansas that could make a good poke bowl until now. I'm so glad I found this place. So if you want a delicious experience go to Bobalicious. You will not be...
Read moreLet me first start by saying the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. They are the only reason I’m not leaving a 1 star review. Genuinely shocked at how bad the drink was though. First I got a Tokyo Rose which sounded phenomenal but I literally gagged when I took my first sip. The boba tasted burnt and something in the drink (I imagine the strawberries) had an extremely harsh chemical taste. So I took my drink back in and the staff was nice enough to make a different drink for me without the boba. This time I got a Taro Milk Tea but unfortunately this drink also was really bad. I’m not sure if one of the ingredients were bad but the consistency and taste of the drink was undrinkable. I ended up just pouring the whole thing out in my yard. Very very disappointed...
