Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in North Little Rock

I went to this Shipley's location on JFK boulevard because I was in the area and my son wanted some donuts. The drive-thru moved quickly but they got my order wrong and I must say that I like Daylight donuts much better than Shipley's. The donuts here at Shipley's tasted more like bread that was sweetened, it was thick and chewy. A donut is supposed to be light and fluffy but you will not find that here. After they did not get my order correct and I had already paid for it I told them I did not feel that I should be charged 50 cents on my debit card, that's to cover a purchase less than $5, for them to ring me up one more donut, since they did not get things correct when I paid the first time around. I could not understand what the woman said but I think she just decided to give it to me because I drove off with it anyhow. I wish I had realized there was a daylight donuts just across the street or I would have gone there...

Shipley Do-Nuts customer service is Horrible. On April 30th, 2023, I ordered donuts to be delivered from the JFK location in North Little Rock, AR. The donuts never arrived. I contacted the store. They said they would initiate a refund. Nothing happened. I contacted Shipleys customer service line throughout the following week, spoke to four different agents, each promising my refund would be processed. Still nothing happened. I called Shipleys corporate office located in Texas. Spoke to a rep. named Earl. He stated my refund request would be escalated. As of this date, May 18th, I have not received a refund. Shipleys poor customer service is very disappointing. I will never order donuts from them again.Their donuts are not that good to have to put up with horrible...

I'm going to say something here that many arkansans aren't going to agree with me here. I dont like this place. When the donuts are hot, they are a solid 3-4 stars, but if you are unlucky to get cold donuts, they are a sub 1 star. I would say you would get a better doughnut at a gas station or supermarket. I went at 830 on a Saturday, and the doughnuts were already cold. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They get 5 stars from me. There is a little bit of a language barrier with some of the staff. I got a person who didn't seem to understand what I was saying, and I wasn't the only person struggling with this in line. Daylight donuts is right down the street from this place. Like 2 blocks.
