First impressions are everything and I was not impressed. I called in my order & was told that it would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I waited a good 20 minutes before entering the restaurant. When I walked in there were 3 other groups waiting for their orders & crowded at the counter. I had to get the cashiers attention to even acknowledge me eventhough she looked right at me. I made the mistake of paying for my order before receiving my food. I even left a tip! The kitchen workers looked busy but no orders were going out. I noticed a to go box sitting in a bag not yet tied up. It had been sitting on the back counter since my arrival. After I was there about 10 minutes a worker walked up and asked a coworker what order is this? She just shrugged her shoulders and kept doing her thing. I had a feeling it was mine but waited patiently. 10 more minutes passed and a worker finally took the time to figure out that the order was in fact mine. The cashier acted completely unaffected by the oversight. She also never offered me a cup for my drink I ordered. No one apologized. There are so many issues here and most of them are the fault of management. To go customers have no where to wait. They should not be crowded at the register where orders are also taken. The kitchen structure is apparently lacking efficiency. Politeness & customer service is not a priority here. It is beyond frustrating that I spent $26 of my hard earned money for 1 meal to be treated with such disregard. He was really excited and so was I because so far everything new that we’ve tried in town has been amazing! I’m not a fan of fish at all so I usually just get shrimp or something else. Anyways, the staff was very rude. When I was giving the lady my order she kept making faces when I would ask about the menu, what was good what was not. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo and my husband ordered catfish and shrimp combo. The wait for our food was really quick so I have no complaints about that but when we asked for tarter sauce, they said they were out... out of tarter sauce at a seafood restaurant on a Friday. Okay. My husband is kind and just asked for hot sauce instead but I can see the disappointment in his eyes. There was two young girls who were waiting us and helped us if I needed extra ranch and I even asked for some Buffalo sauce for my chicken. I wish I had gotten their names, they were amazing. Well, it seems the workers had a problem with it because, when my husbands cup broke, I asked for another one and when I went they said, right in front of me, “next time, if they didn’t order it don’t give it to them” but I did order it, I just needed another one because the cup had busted. Read moreI ordered for a catering event at my work a week in advanced for 40 (I only had 30 people but wanted to make sure there was enough). I ordered Catfish & Chicken buffet. Where to start... it was late getting here.The lady delivering it sat at the train for I dont know how long before she called me saying that she didnt know what to do. I had to tell her to go around and explained how to go around the train. When it got here it the food was cold. I had my crew, and people we had invited, to join us waiting. Next she brought in what I was sure was just half the order. No way was that going to feed 40 people. Then as she is about to leave I said where are the plates, meal kits, cups, serving ware and utensils? SHE DIDNT BRING THEM! So yet another wait while she went back to get them, as the food sits there getting colder and colder. I called the restruant and the girl that answered said that the manger was on their way. She/he never showed up. The orginal lady came back with the plates, cups and utensils. So for $778.61 my crew and guests got cold late food. And since you have to prepay ahead of time I had added a tip hoping that we would get good service. So total bill was $808.61. I feel so bad for my employees. It is paid out of their employee fund.
