I just visited this store today, we came in at 8:50 to pick up two dog food containers. If i could give a 0 star , i would . I work in a restaurant, and i understand how it is when trying to close. But all you have to do, in retail, is fix things up. When we walked in, the greeter did not greet us at all. Don’t understand why you would have a greeter if that’s not what they do. We looked around at some items, and went back to go grab the containers. We went to go check out at 9, 30 minutes till close. Upon our arrival they announced to make final selections because they closed in 30 minutes. A few of them talking about how they were going to shut the register down at 9:15. We went up there , two people looked at us. The First Lady asked were we ready to check out, we said we were. The other lady (“kiyah” is what her badge stated) told the lady that she would take us at 6. We had to hear from the other lady that she would take us at 6 . She didn’t tell us herself. We came, she said nothing , rang up our stuff , and had an attitude with it. Asked if i wanted to apply for a credit card , i told her no. I am kind of mad , because how rude she was, i should’ve applied to take up more time, because like i stated they closed in 30 minutes. I paid for the items, she barely handed me the receipt, and she didn’t even push my items up forward . I had to reach by her to grab my items. They are ghetto and unprofessional. Read moreI love the store! I had the pleasure of working with two great employees who assisted me in purchasing several items today. Their friendly and helpful service really made my shopping experience enjoyable.
However, I was disappointed by the way Ashley—whom I believe is a manager or team lead—spoke to the employees. She came off as rude and disrespectful, and it was upsetting to see my helpers having to ask her for assistance because of her tone. I feel that the store or regional manager needs to address this issue immediately, as customers shouldn’t have to witness employees being spoken to in such a manner. (If there is more than one Ashley, I’m referring to the one who used to work at Conway, based on overheard conversations.)
Overall, while I appreciate the exceptional service provided by the majority of the team, this situation definitely left a negative impression. I hope the management takes appropriate action to ensure a respectful environment for both employees...
Read moreI just wanted to tell you that I was in your North Little Rock TJMax, and a very angry woman (whom I had a traffic altercation with earlier) approached me and proceeded to swear and threaten me very loudly and aggressively- saying that she intended to wait outside for me. As I kept my cool- it was obvious that I was quite shaken, as was the young man standing with me. (whom has Down Syndrome and was clearly not ok.) After she finally left- a couple of your associates came up to me and assured me that they were sorry this happened to me and that I would not have to go to my car without an escort. I wish that I had gotten their names- but I just wasn’t ok at the time. These associates made it clear that they wanted to be sure that we were ok and felt safe- and for this I am so very grateful.
