I placed a mobile order for some Macchiatos with extra espresso, Iced Coffee and a Coke. Checked in at curbside and waited. Someone came out to tell me they couldn't make the Macchiatos because the machine was cleaning and it would be an hour. I asked to just cancel the order. I was then told by the manager on duty they couldn't cancel the order, I had to do it from the app. I was unable to cancel from the app so I called the customer service number who said it had already been checked out the store needed to refund me. I went back and was told by the manager she couldn't refund me, they don't have my money since she physically didn't take the order. I told her well I paid, I came out of my account and I received nothing so I need my money back. She called her boss "Boss Lady" was the only contact information I was given who eventually said refund her. I was issued a refund to my account for 2 Macchiatos without the extra espresso (I didn't catch that part until after the fact) I had to ask if we were going to get the Iced coffee and Coke. She brought them out and the Iced Coffee was the worst thing I have ever tasted, you could see at least and inch worth or grandulated sugar sitting at the bottom and no amount of mixing made it taste any less like sugar with vanilla liquid that was completely undrinkable. I would of left it alone and not done this review except for the fact the manager literally argued about them not being able to refund my money which was later explained by.. "we have had alot of theft so we are hesitant to issue redunds" 1. I gave y'all money you didn't give me product. 2. You refused to offer refund therefore you were stealing my money. 3. I don't care if you have employees stealing that is NOT my fault or my problem. 4. My problem was not fully corrected and the parts did get compensated was I can only assume purposefully and maliciously made improper since I inconvenienced them so much. I don't know who "Boss Lady" is but I would like her to know the poor attitude of her manager and condition...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars, I would. On a Sunday night, when it was not at all busy, I went to the drive thru at 6:17pm and ordered 2 filet o fish sandwiches, "both of them plain, just the fish and the bread, no cheese, no anything." I also attempted to order 1 large fry. I was told, "I can't do large fries." I asked if they could do 2 mediums. They said yes. I added a large sweet tea. Paid at the 1st window, instructed to go to the next window. Given my drink and asked to pull around to the front (please note, there was only 1 car in front of me and they were also parked to wait). After 15 minutes, at 6:34pm, I am brought a bag. I looked and found both fish sandwiches had cheese on them. Luckily, the young lady was still in the area giving another car-that had subsequently been parked to wait- their food order. I got her attention and explained what I ordered vs. what I got. She took the sandwiches, I assumed, to get remade. I waited as more cars were parked to wait for their orders. A couple cars came and went while I continued to wait. Another woman came out and asked what I was waiting for. I told her the 2 plain filet o fish sandwiches without anything on them, just fish and bread, no cheese or anything. She was flustered, said something about they should've already been brought out to me- as if they were sitting somewhere waiting and getting cold-and she went back in. Please keep in mind, I still have the fries...they were not for me, but my husband who was waiting at home. I tried to keep them warm by putting them in the floor and turning on the heater...this was unsuccessfull. She finally came back with the sandwiches, apologized...and left. No offer to give me fresh fries or any other compensation. I finally left the parking lot at 6:59pm...over 40 minutes after placing my order. Fast food?!? Only if slow is the new fast...I will DEFINITELY not...
Read moreI think I've said before that I don't typically review fast food restaurants unless they're exceptionally good...or bad. Such a shame too, because I used to purposefully skip the McDonald's in Levy to come to this one. I ordered breakfast this morning (10/25/22 @8am) and got a bacon egg and cheese biscuit meal, sausage biscuit, and grape jelly. The woman taking my order seemed to be new but she was kind. I heard her say to someone over the mic that I wanted the sausage biscuit and grape jelly in a separate bag. I paid and then at the next window they gave me my food. No separate bag, but no biggie. I simply asked for another bag. Then I realized I didn't get the grape jelly I had ALREADY ORDERED. So I tried to be as nice as possible and just asked for some grape jelly, the girl at the window was sweet and grabbed me some, but the woman behind her—she looked like a manager but I hope she wasn't—literally YELLED AT ME. She said "DON'T ASK FOR CONDIMENTS AT THE WINDOW." The young girl in front of her looked horrified, and I snapped back that I DID order jelly already, it was on my ticket. The manager either didn't hear me or didn't care. The girl said it was fine and that I could go (politely). I have never been yelled at like this by someone who supposedly works in customer service. And I used to work in fast food and hospitality, so I try to be as understanding as possible. But yelling at someone for YOUR mistake is completely unacceptable. I will of course be back here, it's fast food and it's convenient for me on my route to work. But it's really disappointing that one of my favorite McDonald's has...
