I would highly recommend this location to every one. I always order pickup from here. I would also highly encourage using the papa John’s app. It easy to use, you earn points on every purchase, can pay using card or cash on pickup, and it keeps track on progress of your order. It shows when it’s being prepared, cooked, and when ready for pickup. It’s always hot and ready for me when the app says it’s ready. Every time I enter this location, some one says hello and welcome (that’s nice to hear). They are always nice and prompt. I’ve only had one problem with an item several years ago (yes we’ve been going here for a long time), and the store manage promptly fixed the issue. My review may be a little bias, because my son and I think papa John’s pizza is the best. We love, love, love their pizza. We always get a pepperoni pizza (extra sauce, but that’s the way we like it). I also get the garlic knots. Those things are awesome. The soft dough bread topped with garlic sauce, yum yum. A little warning on the garlic knots box, it always leaks out. The butter garlic sauce usually spills out into the box and soaks through. Don’t let that stop you from ordering them, it doesn’t stop us. Just don’t let the box sit on your car seat, you won’t like how it’s leaves a stain. I did stain a previous car seat by doing just that, I had the garlic knots box sitting next to the pizza box, so I could eat the knots on the way home. I did email papa John’s website about how the knots leak out and will soak through the box, but they didn’t change the box (that’s ok, I still order them) We actually ordered papa John’s today. I got a little froggy and ordered chicken wings along with our usual pizza and garlic knots. (Yes, the garlic knots did soak through the box, but we were prepared for that). Anyway, back to the wings. I was disappointed with the wings. I think I set my expectations a little high for the wings. Now; don’t get me wrong, I do love chicken wings. I love crunchy ranch spiced chicken wings, (especially the ones from Walmart’s deli). I saw the original wings on papa John’s menu, and thought that sounds good. I scrolled through all the chicken wings options and came across the “Garlic Parmesan wings”. Here’s where I messed up. In my mind, I thought of the garlic knots spices on fried crunchy wings with Parmesan on top. Well my mental pictures of what I thought I was getting vs what I actually got; we’re way off base. Apparently the “Garlic Parmesan wings” aren’t fried at all. What I got was soggy baked (I guess they were baked, I’m no chef) wings. No crunch at all. They seemed under cooked to me, kinda reminded me of boiled chicken. The meat easily came off the bone but didn’t have any crunchy crust. I managed to eat 2 of the 8, and threw the rest away. I don’t recommend anyone ordering those. I’m sure the other wings they offer are better. Heck they couldn’t be worse than what I got. Anyway, besides the soggy “ garlic Parmesan wings” that were nasty, my pizza and garlic knots were freaking awesome. The garlic knots were all gone before we got home, and the pizza was very good as well. I still gave it a 5 star rating because we’ve been going there for years and...
Read moreSo I have been a regular at (My) local Papa John's for a little over a year. .and normally have a Fantastic experience with these people when apparently the manager that I am familiar with Noah . . Is running the store. So I ordered what I normally order the usual. .2 papadias with sausage, pepperoni and bacon. As I'm standing there waiting to get my food I can't help but notice how disgusting the place was on the inside. The gentleman that checked me out was apparently the manager Josh. Josh has no gloves on and neither did the guy makin my order. There were ingredients EVERYWHERE. He is yelling to rotate the old cheese in the back, a young woman behind the counter eating where our food is being made. Cleanliness is Definitely Not one of this stores strengths. So back to Josh. Josh is a very friendly guy who chooses to use colorful language with the customers. I could go on and on about him using profanity for what? Because I asked him why he thinks acceptable to have his store looking that way? What My issue was in the first place is I received my order and got home, and it was disgusting the way the order was put together. There was more bread then ingredients and they literally put like 2 of each ingredient which by the way there was NO WAY I was putting any of that into my body and I am AMAZED they can charge people for this. There was grease everywhere like I was like yea im good I'll just go get a refund no big deal. Take my order back and try to explain to sir Josh who does not mind having bass in his voice what the issue was and he was mad like I made him use his gas, messed up his order and ruined his experience I really did not understand to be honest. Anyway he repeated get out of his store several times as I pleaded with him to simply turn around and look at how disgusting the inside of HIS store looked and he will see the issue. I Just didnt know papa johns supported their staff cursing out customers but idk maybe he was just racist whatever it was they need to do better but its okay i understand we should spend our money on disgusting filth well yall can im good
They have got better since...
Read moreJosh, the manager lacks basic social and communication skills.
I discovered that someone had used my papa johns account to order pizza at 6:07pm on 8/7/24 and attempted to contact the North Little Rock, AR Store to notify them at 6:29pm on 8/7/24 (I live in NC and currently in my home state).
I kid you not, the store literally hung up on me 2 times in a row when I started talking. On the third time that I called, I asked to speak to the manager because I was sick of being hung up on. He didn’t apologize or acknowledge that I had been hung up on twice. Josh, was not only was he downright rude and demeaning, he was not helpful in the information he shared.
I asked them if they could cancel the order and they said they could not help me. He did NOT advise me to call corporate to investigate it and that would be able to cancel it. When I asked why the store couldn’t cancel it, he got frustrated at me and said “I already explained this to you three times.” Again, he never told me that I could call Corporate to get the order canceled and my papa johns bucks back. Once I called Corporate, they fixed it in two minutes.
Instead of saying I can’t help you and leaving it at that, maybe next time try to explain this is taken care of on a corporate level and offer their phone number instead of...
