Reno's Cafe — Restaurant in North Little Rock

Wish that I could rate the service less than one star! Visited this place last night and although I will say they didn’t have enough servers for a Friday night, the servers were incredibly rude! Busy or not they could have had better service. From the time we walked in the servers (2 men and 1 woman) could have cared less that we were there. One of the men did take our drink order but we had to flag him down to take our food order. He was VERY impatient when I was trying to tell him what we wanted. Took a very long time to get our food while others around us were being served quicker. When we finally asked the female server about our food she almost yelled at us that the kitchen was cooking as fast as they could. When we finally got our food, which the server almost gave to the table next to us, he got angry when we said it was our food, saying that the table next to us ordered the same items. Like it was our fault that he almost gave it to them instead of us even though we ordered before them! The food was mediocre, the Italian sandwich was decent but the chicken strips were like what Sonic serves, just frozen strips with WAY too much breading. The portion size was good but I’m guessing most people only go there for the drinks. The service was probably the worst I’ve ever received and the food wasn’t great! There are WAY better places in Argenta so I can say I’ll NEVER be back there! I’m really surprised...

Visit was 21 July 2022 during a business trip. It was the last night before I flew. So, I checked online for eating establishments need by that were open & I could walk to. The reviews were pretty high and the menu had a few things I like and had to decide what to get when I get there. I was going to make a take out, but was open to the choice of eating there. Well, it was more a bar scene, and folks were smoking which hits you when you go inside. One of those that everyone looks at you when you enter and prominently men in on this day. TVs were on, and the young lady that came to greet me was a pleasant sweetheart. I placed my takeout, which would take 15 minutes, so I stepped out, took a call, mainly to avoid the cigarette smoke. Food was okay and beef was seasoned pretty good, but I have had better but for this area it was probably the high remarks for the area. The fact that smoking is permitted would never get me back into this...

This is a smoking establishment. I have eaten here on several occasions where no one was smoking. I am not a smoker but have no problem with being in the same environment with smokers. If you don't like smoke, enter at your own risk. As far as food goes...this place does not get the recognition it deserves. Everything I have eaten from here is phenomenal. Best cheese dip in Arkansas (also best homemade chips). Awesome nachos. Love their chicken wings with Lou's hot sauce on the side. If I were rating the food only, I would give this place 5 stars.
