I rarely give under 4 stars, but this time is different. So first let me say I've eaten at this Taco Bell location plenty of times without issue. The food is usually fresh, my order comes correct, and the wait typically isn't too long. This time I was a bit disappointed. The staff is always friendly and professional here, this time was no different. However, my husband and I went through the drive-thru, my husband was driving so he ordered our food: two combo meals with drinks. Mine was the 3 doritos locos tacos (I order mine without cheese)and a mountain dew, his was a crunch wrap supreme meal with mountain dew. The employee taking our order over the intercom was having trouble hearing us, so my husband made sure the car was completely quiet and made sure to speak up. We finished placing our order and the woman gave us our total over the speaker, she said it was going to be $7 and some change. My husband and I looked at each other puzzled, because there's no way that was correct. There were a few cars ahead of us in line, we waited about 6-8 minutes. Then we pulled up to the window, the employee working the window gave us the same $7 total. My husband then told her that total didn't sound correct, and recited what we had ordered. The employee then apologized and said for some reason the employee who took our order didn't put the second meal into the computer. As they handed us my meal and drink, and took our $7 payment, She very apologetically informed us we would have to go back through the drive-thru to place the order for my husbands meal. I'm not going to lie, my husband was frustrated. Because we had to wait in line again for something we had already ordered, and this would cause us to use our card for two separate transactions, which we do get charged a fee for. I'm unsure about the reasoning for why we had to go back through the line even though we ordered already, I am sure it's not the employees decision, it may be a policy issue. So as we pulled through for the second time, I checked my order and realized it was incorrect. So we let them know, and we got to keep the tacos they originally gave us. So we got some extra tacos out of the deal, I guess it wasn't all bad. The food was pretty good, and like I said the staff was cordial. I would suggest getting the speakers on the drive-thru intercom checked, because it seemed as if it was hard for the employee to hear us. This wasn't the best visit to this Taco Bell location, but it wasn't horrible either. I can definitely see some needed improvement, if a customer orders something yet it doesn't get rang up, I don't think having them go back through is ideal. That's my...
Read moreTaco Bell - the champion of the taco. A fast food chain that has ruled the art of Mexican cuisine in drive thru form. A blessing to us all.
However, this local chain has fallen from the graces of the Taco Bell reputation I so often expect. It’s not the food that makes this location utterly dismal, it’s the staff and their lack of desire to serve their customers.
On multiple occasions, my comrades and I have driven to this location simply desiring a late night craving to be satisfied with the juicy deliciousness that is Taco Bell. On every occasion, we are met with our biggest fear - a staff that has no desire to satisfy our hunger. The wait times are outrageous. Once, we sat at the window to order for 20 minutes until one of the fine fellows answered.
Another time - thinking we could outsmart the system - we went inside. The situation was laughable. The only people inside, we stood waiting as the staff ignored us, joked around, and even ordered food for themselves before even acknowledging us.
I love Taco Bell. It’s wonderful. However, this location makes me want to give my allegiance to the enemy - Taco Bueno. It’s truly sad. Taco Bell - please save this location. Come to our rescue.
ps. I wrote this while waiting at the...
Read moreI very rarely leave a review of a business if it's less than five stars, typically I do not return. Some businesses are so bad, it requires warning the public , so to speak, in order to prevent them from experiencing the debacle. Take this location of TacoBell, the dining floor is locked to the public. We were used to this from recent experience ( read covid). However, this location does not warn you with signage to keep you from exiting the vehicle only to pull on the "door of disappointment". More over, if you are burdened with difficulty walking/standing, the lack of signage adds insult to your injury. To highlight the problem further, the wait in the drive-thru is almost thirty minutes. Imagine placing an order, being pinned in line with no easy escape, needing to use the facilities, and a thirty minute drive-thru wait. I was however, thrilled initially to see the employees delivering orders to customers in the parking lot, only to later come to realize it is a service reserved only for friends or family. Do yourself, and your family, a favor and go get your tacos at...
