Hidden gem. Was surprised when the server told me they’d been around for 40 years and the server himself had been with the company for 25 years (which says a lot about ownership). Apparently this location is a new one and they were in the silver aluminum dinner that used to be on US1, I remember it being there pre-COVID.

I had the crab cake appetizer which was beyond delicious! I’m a person who orders crab cake every time, if I see it on the menu, so naturally I had to try there’s. Honestly I was shocked at how much I loved it. If you like a bit of heat, you have to order this.

For my main, I went basic. I ordered the 4 cheese ravioli in a pink sauce. The sauce choices we’re Alfredo (which I would never order), red, or pink. The pasta is not made in house which is disappointing. And as far as the dish itself goes, it was mediocre. This is probably a dish better suited for a child’s pállate.

Ordered one glass of Pinot Grigio, which was lovely. The service was superb. The server paid close attention to detail, brought me bread whenever I’d run out. I didn’t wait long between courses at all, which was perfect as I had an appointment next door.

This isn’t a place I’d go to specifically for ambiance as the decor is nothing to write home about and the music choice is odd for the setting. But I will definitely come back for a quick quality meal (avoiding the pasta this time around) and...

I have been coming to Gourmet diner for over 8 yrs. well before they moved here. And this is the first time I'm leaving a review.

First and foremost there hot French bread is awesome.

They offer you a basket of hot French bread with butter and some type of dipping sauce that I tried for the first time without ever asking what is was and it was great. (Free of course)

The service is excellent.

Eric who has been serving me all the years is top notch. He seem to remember all of his customers by. name every time I come there.

This is we're I come when I crave balsamic rice with peppercorn gravy. and churassco steak. Ugh to die for.

Customers come as far north Boca Raton and as far as south of Florida City.

Nice and cozy atmosphere and all the staff member treat you like family.

Prices are very fair and competitive.

And from time to time you might be treated with a courtesy bowl of soup or dessert.

Always leave here happy and a smile.

Can't go wrong....

I came in to dine with a friend, and we were immediately drawn to Donna's genuine and hospital service. She's knowledgeable, patient, personable, and very attentive. She recommended the Halibut and mussels, and they were the perfect choices.

The second time we came to dine, we were met with the same, courteous, and attentive service. Eric and Donna are the best, and you must have the halibut!

The third time we came to dine, we received wonderful service from Daniella and got a chance to greet Donna before she headed out for the evening. I once again got the halibut and added their delicious chicken soup, Greek salad, and liver for the table.

This restaurant was the highlight of my work trip. I could not be happier and more satisfied after the exceptional food and service that I received.

I shall...

Consistently the best of the best... Eric and the whole gang offer great service, great food... The steamed mussels are fantastic... The escargot are delectable... The soups of the day, yum!!! Try the crab cakes, they're tender, meaty with a great spicy kick... The churrasco steak, as it should be... Tender medium rare perfection... In fact, every meal we've savored has been mouthwatering delicious... & the desserts, "oh my"!!!... My compliments to the chef/kitchen... Always a fabulous gastronomical experience... 😁

This is not a north East diner. This is a gourmet restaurant. Leaning towards the French side. Besides French dishes they have some Mexican dishes, sandwiches, and salads. The food is fantastic. The sides are fantastic. The service is great. This restaurant is REALLY great. Can’t recommend it enough. They serve beer and wine. Any other alcohol I did not ask about.
