The food at Paquitos is delicious, fresh and the perfect portions. I highly recommend the Poblano Mole , it's a rich and flavorful traditional dish. The atmosphere is cozy and colorful with lots of beautiful art and interesting decor. This is a perfect spot for a date night, anniversary or family outing. Unfortunately our server left a lot to be desired. Our server neglected our table, acted as though we were an inconvenience and was wearing an unfriendly expression. I understand that sometimes wait staff have multiple tables to attend to and can't always give their best or full attention, however the restaurant was at less than half of their capacity and our server was noticeably more attentive to other tables around us. We were a party of four, we ordered drinks, appetizers, as well as entrees, yet our server only passed by our table when we placed our initial order, once more when we waved them over to refill our waters and finally when we requested the check. Overall it wasn't the best experience, however the food was delicious enough to give it a second chance at a later time.

So this was a hard one, because everything was above expectation but one thing. Upon arrival it was great we were seated and the place was really nice. Beautiful colors and tons of Mexican cultural eye candy. Really cool paintings and statues everywhere, super appealing. This place is very spacious with a ton of seating. Great margarita bar with a full service bar. They have sign that they play live music and they do karaoke. The service was amazing, the waiter was very responsive and new the menu well. Now when the food came out the portions were grrrreat, nice size plate full of food. Now here is where I got a bit discouraged. Despite all the positives the food taste was kind of bland. I dont know maybe it was what we ordered. I had a skirt steak, some rice and frijoles and enchiladas. Never really had enchiladas before but im guessing they're not all that. Idk. I want to return to give a better review. Overall the place was amazing. Good place to go with the family. I wish them the Best. I tipped the waiter well bc he was 👍

I will start by mentioning this; don’t let the outside appearance fool you, you have to walk inside and see what this place is all about. They’ve been here for 30 years and the Decor throughout the entire restaurant will transport you to Mexico. Staff was friendly and helpful out waiter Elias was very knowledgeable and we tried some os his suggestions (on point)! We also met one of the owners Antonio who explained that they have Karaoke nights, DJ and even Mariachis from Thursday to Saturday. Happy hour is only at the bar, we tried the Tortilla Soup, Paquito’s Nachos, Sopes & Flautas we paired them Cerveza Modelo, Orchata, Jamaica and Margaritas (El Beso de Luz Margarita was awesome. I am giving the 4 Stars only because they forgot to enter my order of Tacos al Pastor and my recommendation would be to update the main entrance Decor a bit. It's been a long time since we've been here. Maybe six years. One of the best Mexican Restaurants in South Florida. They were #1 a few years ago in South Florida. It's absolutely great. Super great service, excellent food, very clean stablishment. All around one of our top restaurants. They also have a disco/dance floor in the bar area. Mariachis I believe twice a week. They were outside rehearsing was we were leaving. Super friendly guys and very talented. I attached a picture of their business card in case anyone wants to book them. This restaurant is without a doubt a great place to eat, hangout, for birthday party, etc. The service is always great and the food even better. The prices are very competitive. We love the beautiful decorations. It's all around 💯. Highly recommend. Stop by if you are in the area. You won't regret it. Thank you very much for checking in. Have a blessed day.

I am a frequent visitor of this establishment. The food was absolutely terrible. From the guacamole to every aspect of the meal, just horrible. Food was cold and hard. To add insult to Injury, the bill comes and a pitcher of margarita which used to cost $25 is now $48.33. The manager arrives to further insult us. This manager (the son of the owner) Antonio, he never apologized and never tried to help. He was rude, dismissive, and didn't care that we were paying customers. He sarcastically smiled and said do what ever you want. I would recommend to go to a better, authentic restaurant like cheen huaye southern mexican restaurant for better quality and service. Being the owners son does not excuse rude, sarcastic, obnoxious behavior. He puffed up his chest like a rooster in an aggressive manner. He should not be in front or assisting customers.

Read a lot of reviews on google so decided to give Paquito's a try. We walked in and were immediately seated but the table was dirty so had to get it cleaned up. While checking the menu I happened to look at the floor and right next to my feet was a dead cockroach :/ The girl on the next table had an eye contact with me and we shared a disgusted giggle. Finally to change our table. The veggie burrito was mediocre (forgot to click pics) consisted of 25% refried beans, 70% onions and 5% red bell pepper in the name of onions. Some cheese on top - pretty bland overall. Chicken burrito ordered by my husband was fine though. Servers don't care and not once did they bother to ask if we need something or if we are doing fine. We walked up to pay at the counter as obviously nobody was coming to us and notice a check with gratuity of 18% added.
