TGI Fridays — Restaurant in North Miami Beach

Well to start we entered into the restaurant and was approached by Dakota who was the hostess. We requested outdoor seating because the restaurant was extremely cold. She told us that it was not possible because the waitress who had the outside patio was gone for the night. She then directed us to the loudest part of the restaurant next to the bar and server station. We sat down and waited about 10 mins until our server came to greet us asking if we cared for a beverage. We ordered drinks and an appetizer along with the food. She left and came back with our drinks. Roughly 15 more minutes passed and our appetizer was ready and being served by the food runner who walked up to the table and sat the plate down n left. No appetizer plates or anything. We used our napkins until we noticed that they contained sani solution and were wet. Food arrived and both New York strips were overcooked when we ordered medium and medium rare. The brocolli was brown, the steaks didnt have jack Daniel's on top instead a heavy amount of butter n no parmesan cheese. As we ate we watched several employees walk by the dirty tables next to us and didnt even think to clean it off but kept seating people in our section to the point between the blender and the noise from the other patrons we couldn't even have a conversation. We at quickly and skipped dessert. I paid our waitress Keyana and headed to the door but I stopped n asked Dakota to have Kevin come up and I spoke to him about my experience and all he did was look at me like I was insane and said that he will take note of it. Also note that the bartender was busy entertaining his friends and talking in Spanish about his upcoming evening of partying. This place needs some attention from corporate fast. It was a Sunday evening and we were a party of seven. The waitstaff was polite but it didn't change the fact that we waited about 30 minutes to sit when there were many many tables available. The excuse given was that they were in the middle of a shift change. Well that's not a way to deal with any type of change. I speak from experience from working in restaurants, bars, and catering halls etc. Then the appetizers came out before the drinks, we didn't even have water. And when we did get drinks we had to wait a long time for the refills. Then other tables had received their food before we did and overall waited about another 35 to 45 minutes for our food. I asked for a bowl to discard the bones from the rack of ribs and that never came AND my ribs weren't even hot. They weren't bad but they weren't fresh off the grille or oven either. Overall very slow service. The manager was also very unpresentable with his hair shaved on the sides and a long ponytail down passed his behind and he looked very sloppy. I've been here before a few times with large parties and the waitstaff looked lost and slow but this was a bad experience, much worse than all the other times. They need more...

This place has fallen into disrepair. Eight months ago we went and the food was no longer the same, but the fries were still good although a little cold and the rib was quite good although not the same as before, but the other accompaniments were not seasoned. The two dishes we ordered did not arrive hot at the table. It was a very late Friday and the waiters were chatting among themselves and taking a while to come to the table. About ten months ago we had eaten some ribs that were exquisite in flavor and tender meat. We were shocked by how tasty it was and from there we began to consume it more regularly. Today we went around 9:30pm, we ordered takeout. The ribs were not tender, the glazed whiskey a little spicy and too sweet. The fries showed that they had not been fried with clean oil, and they did not seem to be the same seasoned as I have previously eaten here, but rather they were smaller. And the coleslow salad was dry, sauce was almost missing. Food always felt very good in my stomach, today I have discomfort in my liver because of that oil. What a shame, it was one of the restaurants with the most delicious and affordable food...
