Had a surprise delivery which I had no ideas about. The city building complex we live in clearly has a digital box that allows anyone who doesn’t live there to dial in which the delivery man did not use and walked in behind someone.
Immediately to the left of our entrance is a delivery room with a fridge and clear large dial pad on how to leave no contact packages.
I was Covid positive and getting numerous spam calls from healthcare organizations so o wasn’t answering unknown numbers. I didn’t know I was getting a surprise cake delivery either.
The delivery called the Nothing Bundt Cake Aventura and told them he couldn’t reach anyone when he didn’t even try the entry dial pad. When I called NBC they told me they can’t refund, they can’t re deliver cause it’s a different company and that costs them money.
I told them I had no idea I was getting a surprise till it was too late and regardless couldn’t have met the guy in person which is why we have a clear contact less delivery room for this very reason. NBC told me to speak to the delivery people as they can’t do anything.
When I spoke the delivery service they told me NBC told them to THROW AWAY the cake.
The person delivering my cake with balloons as me were very sad my birthday cake was tossed or eaten by some random delivery guy’s family.
When we tried negotiating for a refund they said they can only remake it with no refund and I had to drive 45 min to go pick it up.
Sick and all I went with my partner and mask to get the redone cake as I felt bad for the person who had a good intention to deliver it but knew they couldn’t get any of their money back.
We called the company upon arrival and they left the cake outside our car door.
When I went to look at the note, the note belonged to another person for their birthday so in the end the cakes we got belonged to someone else.
2 times failed delivery. Do not order from these people, they don’t care...
Read moreI’ve always had great experiences at other Nothing Bundt Cakes, but today at this location was incredibly frustrating. I placed a fully paid order last week to pick up today at 9 am for an employee’s birthday using a company credit card, with my name on the order. When I arrived to pick it up, I was asked for a photo ID, which seemed odd since I had the confirmation email so I went back to my car to get it. What if I had sent someone else to grab it? Then the cashier told me I also needed to show the physical credit card used for payment—which I didn’t have with me because it’s a company card and stays in the office. Even though my photo ID matched the order and I had proof of purchase, they refused to give me the cake. The cashier went to the back and called an additional staff member, and while she was not rude, was very firm that this was the owner’s policy, and there was nothing they could do. At this point, I’ve already wasted time and I’m starting to run late for work and out of options, so I asked them to cancel the order and refund me so I could just buy a new cake on the spot. That’s when they suddenly decided to make a “one-time exception” and let me take it. I was never told in advance that the card would be required, and when I mentioned this, she claimed I should have received a call, which never happened. I get that policies are in place for a reason, but this one seems illogical and unnecessary and caused way more frustration than it should have and a negative...
Read moreIf i could give 0 stars i would. I love their cakes and i buy then for every occasion. I usually go to their kendall store but this time i made the detrimental mistake of ordering frome this store in north miami.
I specifically ordered a 10-inch Bundt cake for an important office event with our Medical Director. Instead, I was sent an 8-inch cake.
When I called to resolve this, I was shocked and offended that the staff member I spoke with repeatedly insisted I was wrong — even after I provided clear photos showing the cake is only 8 inches. Being dismissed and treated as though I am lying is completely unacceptable. She made it very clear that she did not care about my issue or the fact that my gathering was ruined with her condeseng "OK" with a sarcastic undertone.
This was not a casual order; it was for a professional event. You have not only failed to deliver what I purchased, but you have also put me in a very difficult position in front of my team and leadership. We did not have enough cake for the staff, You ruined our event.
This COMPLETE lack of accountability attests to this stores poor managememt and horrible customer service. You have lost a loyal customer that not only purchases cakes from you for all personal and bussiness birthdays, holidays and gatherings...but ive referred many ppl to your establishment.
I will be escalating up to the Better Bussiness Bureu and your...
