Ok where do I start!!! This is the third time at the Northlake location. I go and give my order to the cashier. She repeats the order back to me and it sounds correct!!!!! Today one of the orders was a Shrimp & Chicken combo. I asked the cashier for dark meat and jello as one of the sides. The cashier type it in the computer and on the printout of my order has it on there clearly. I'm waiting for my order and I hear what seems to be the manager, a female that i have seen there for many years call out my correct order to one of the employees saying she needed a jello and macaroni salad. One of the employee gather both and set them next to the counter where the order was being prepared. The manager said to put the jello back to the front display counter. I'm still waiting patiently, now going on about 20 minutes. I saw others being packed and sent out to the drive thru and even other customers get the food and walk out. Finally they call my order number and I gather my order. I didn't check my order because I saw that the order was correct on the printout. I get home and to my disappoint the order is WRONG!!!! No jello and no dark meat to the order. Like I said in the beginning this is the third time, my order has been WRONG. I'm feed up and disappointed. I don't know where the problem is, but at this point it's the WHOLE RESTUARANT. I will not attend or spend my money at ANY Bud's franchise anymore. I will not recommend anyone to go to Bud's restaurant and I will post this on...
Read moreAll-around poor service. I used to go through the drive through, but I always got poor service. The service inside was better, so I have just decided to go in and order food to avoid the long line and poor service at the drive through. The food is actually good enough to put up with that.
However, the service inside today was offensive enough that I will not go back. I attempted to pay for $40 worth of chicken with a $50 bill. On top of requiring me to provide ID to pay with a "large bill," the manager refused to recognize a military ID as a valid form of identification.
I was disabled in the military, and because of a service-connected disability, I was unable to get a driver's license (you have to be seizure-free for a year first). I have been inconvenienced many times by places that require a driver's license for identification purposes where a military id should be fine, and I am always offended when I explain that to someone and they won't accept a military ID.
I think requiring and ID to pay with a $50 is discriminatory and offensive. Buy a pen to check if it's counterfeit. There is a certain level of competence in handling money I expect from places where I transact business. I am in your restaurant often enough that you should know my name by now, and instead, you refuse to accept my government-issued ID as valid for the purpose of paying for chicken. You have lost me...
