Before walking into the light & bright store I didn't know what to expect. I was struck by the simplicity and sterile appearance of the store, I was curious. As I walked in, the employee greeted me with a smile. I headed through the cordoned off line that lead to 2 kiosks where you digitally place & pay for your order. I personally like this way of ordering because it gives me the opportunity to look and contemplate my available options without pressure. After the order placement the order was ready in about 3 minutes dispite a fairly busy time. I was handed a cute long pink box with 4 of the 6 available flavors of the day. Upon opening the selected flight of cookies my eyes were delighted with how perfect they were in appearance. They are between 3 & 4 inches in circumference & 1/2 inch thick without any toppings. I couldn't personally eat an entire cookie so I cut mine in 1/4's. I was very enthused by the favor & texture of my cookie. I have been back to try several different cookies since. I thought the price was high for a cookie, but in the end I was paying for a treat that delighted all my senses and turned out to be 4...
Read moreI’m not sure what the issue was this time, but for some reason the churro icing melted in a matter of 12 minutes in full ac, but last time it didn’t in a car with no ac for 35 min. The milk glaze cookie had about 1/3 of the glaze it’s had the last 3 of them I’ve gotten. The only ones that were fine, were the chocolate chip and the cookie dough. Neither of which I will eat. The most unfortunate part is that only one can maybe be eaten. The two that my autistic niece will eat are either melted, or not like the last one she got; one that is for someone else is covered in my nieces cookies frosting, and I asked for a Rocky road but was given a cookie dough instead so no one will eat that one. My husband might still eat the chocolate chip, but since it’s covered in the melted churro frosting he might not. I always love crumbl because it’s so consistently perfect in not only flavor and quality but also presentation. I’m sure they’ll taste just fine, but explain that to an autistic 9yo. Still 4 stars though because this is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed...
Read moreOMG. First visit to Crumbl earlier this week, even though we live here. We were greeted by a woman who wanted to make sure we were being served - a woman in the back of this wide open venue said, "Yes, we are doing a tart for them." A young man was also at the counter - both were polite and friendly. They welcomed us and asked about us - we were surprised, as we had ready some funky reviews on Google about the staff. I will say, IGNORE THOSE REVIEWS...THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. We ordered chocolate, coconut and lemon- my wife hates coconut - IT WAS AMAZING! Not too sweet and absolutely delish! My wife did the chocolate and loved it. We both indulged in the lemon and wow! I gave CRUMBL 5 stars but I am disappointed that I am tethered by ONLY 5. I would give it a lot more, if I could. I don't know if any of you reading this know BAKED BY MELISSA. She's in Manhattan, but has a web store, as well...she does mini cupcakes-great and nice variety - however, Crumbl has...
