Old Navy — Local services in North Port

Would not go here again!

It was me and a group of friends, we are teens and were all individually artists in our own way and we like the kids table there. We would usually just color on the back of the coloring page and then leave, we have done this many times with no problem whatsoever. Note: nothing on the back of the pages were inappropriate and were completely kid friendly.

So, all of us are doing the usual thing and coloring in silence. We were not loud or disruptive. This volunteer was going by us then told us not to sit at the table. Now, I'm completely understanding of that and didn’t mind moving, but she said it in the most belittling way that made the group of us very much disrespected.

A different person who was at the table here, and it was completely disrespectful and rude the way we were treated. It’s one thing to ask us to move, which I understand, but when you go so far as to say “that’s for five year olds, come on.” Is unacceptable. As someone who also works customer service, I understand her frustration. but if the biggest problem is three kids sitting at a table and coloring, with crayons, then you must live a deeply unhappy life. Last person at the table, it was very rude and hurtful how we were spoken to. I understand wanting to save materials for kids or whatever reason she had, but there were much more polite ways to ask us to stop. I simply wanted to have fun with my friends in a peaceful, not harmful way. Belittling us and treating us badly was entirely unnecessary, and it made all of us less likely to shop there or enjoy the store....

I live in Chicago and stopped in the north port store to grab my dad 2 pair of shorts. Got him a black and a beige pair. My dad didn’t like the black pair so I went back today to return them and was met with the most ridiculous attitude by store manager David. Apparently the girl who rung me up, scanned both beige pairs twice (lazy) and that caused David to berate me for “bringing in the wrong receipt”.
