Rude Staff - Watered Down Smoothies Avoid this place unless you enjoy paying $10 for frozen water with an attitude. We ordered three smoothies from here and all were terrible. They were watery and had no flavor - esp the 2 Island Green Smoothies - they tasted extremely bland, like nothing. It is obvious very little fruit, if any was used in them. We order these all the time from a different brand and they are excellent. This store does not care at all about their customers. This is the third time this has happened at this location and they don't care about serving a good product. They put the minimum amount of fruit to rip off their customers. This has happened too many times for it to be a mistake. As soon as we received them, we called to explain what happened and they refused to give us a refund and hung up on us. Extremely obnoxious and unprofessional. Avoid this place. NOTE: In their response to my review, the manager claims they offered to redeliver and blamed it on a delivery issue. Not true - delivery was friendly and on time. The staff did NOT offer a coupon or to redeliver (via Doordash). They said I would have to come up there and pick up new smoothies -that is all they would do. They refused to give a coupon or refund. They are able to give a refund, it happens all the time - she just did not know how to give one. She hung up on me. This was a quality control issue - they did not put fruit in the smoothies and do that...

I can see why tropical smoothie Cafe has less than five stars My first time there I didn't know where to stand to order there's no sign that says where to order I'm being ignored while standing there someone's talking to someone about non-work things while ignoring me The workers are going about their business and not paying attention that I'm standing there A couple of women walk in obviously they've been there before and nowhere to go The worker finally says to me are you looking to order and I said yes she goes the line starts over there I said but I was here before those women that walked in and they totally disregarded me and took the other person's order before mine I looked at the guy at the register and I waved my hand like I was here first he just looked at me and turned his eyes the other way I just walked out the door I'm going to Earth Cafe probably better food there anyway I told him that I've never been there before I didn't know where to stand and they completely ignored that I guess new customers aren't important you just...

Unfortunately, tropical smoothie is going downhill, no matter where I go in my area. It seems like the smoothies are becoming watered down. I also discovered that because I make mobile orders and quick pick up, they haven’t been stocked up with vitamin C and wouldn’t of been able to inform me of that. The only way for me to have found out was to walk in and complain about how water down my smoothie was today so it makes me wonder how many times have I paid for extra vitamins that they have out of stock and they just don’t tell me? Super unethical. The first watermelon Mojito I’ve tried tasted flavor packed with watermelon sweetness in it now they all taste like 90% water ice with a little drop of watermelon and it’s at both of the Port Charlotte location and Northport so headquarters must’ve made them reduce the ingredients.
