T.J. Maxx — Local services in North Port

Found everything we needed at reasonable prices. My only, and biggest issue (to the point i almost dropped all my clothes on the floor and walked out) was Sandy the lady who was working the dressing room. She was extrememly rude to myself and my family and you could tell "friendly" was not in her vocabulary. I asked her if she was just having a bad day or something and she just scoffed and walked away. Extrmemely rude. While i was waiting for my family to finish trying on their clothes I saw her get into it with another customer as well! The other customer kept asking her to calm down (over her cart being around the corner instead of in the corner) and she came over and grabbed the cart from that customer and moved it! The other customer and myself were shocked. The lady told her to calm down again and she just ignored her and went behind her desk. This ladies rudeness was ridiculous. Even one of the asst managers, a bigger woman, was back there talking to her for a second and told a woman she had better count her clothes right or get yelled at by Sandy.. She wasn't lying in the least it seems. Whole situation turned me off of this store. To allow a staff memebr ti be blatantly rude to customers like that, and offer a joke about it, shows how much they care about their customers and store.. I decided to go into the store very late ( after 9pm) google says they are open but I wanted to confirm and called in. Automated system says closed so I waited for a store employee. Savannah answered the phone and was the sweetest and most pleasant person I’ve ever spoken to on the phone from any store ever ( especially this late ) she welcomes us to come in. We ran into her in the back of the store and she was just a ray of sunshine. So happy and helpful to me and sweet with my daughter.

Cathy was our cashier and she was very sweet and helpful to our needs. She helped me remember my rewards $ to use and was very kind and also very sweet with my daughter. She did a good job at the front desk and was so nice to all the other girls leaving their shift for the day as well and told all of them she will see them the next day and she hopes they have a good night and get home safely.
