We live nearby, and Taco Bell has always been my favorite fast food spot, but this location has officially lost our business. While they usually add a decent amount of toppings to the food, the overall experience has been consistently awful. This isn’t just a one-time issue. We’ve been stuck in their drive-thru for 30 to 60 minutes on several occasions, which is completely unreasonable for fast food.
I understand that staffing issues have affected a lot of businesses, especially in the last few years. But when the same problems continue for this long, it starts to reflect poor management rather than just short-term challenges. It feels like there is no plan in place to improve things.
It’s also not just about the wait times. When you go inside, the staff is often rude, clearly uninterested, and sometimes seen playing on their phones. There’s no apology, no urgency, and no acknowledgment of how long you’ve been waiting. I understand most of the team is probably young and working a minimum wage job, and I don’t expect perfection. But there should still be basic standards for customer service and leadership from whoever is in charge.
It’s really disappointing because I want to support this location. I genuinely love Taco Bell and would love for this to be a spot I could count on. But the repeated disorganization, lack of care, and extreme delays make it impossible to keep giving them more chances. This situation needs serious attention, whether through better training, stronger management, or simply setting expectations that prioritize the customer experience. At a bare minimum they need to update their parking lot to allow people to get out of it if they can't manage wait times. While the wait being that long is ridiculous, if I could simply pull out and move on I think people would feel far less angry and trapped. Until that happens, I’ll be going out of my way to visit a...
Read moreOrdered a nachos belgrande, 2 steak burrito Supremes, a hard taco supreme and 2 soft taco Supremes. Paid with a debit card and figured receipt would be in one of the two bags...get home nacho belgrande was pretty much all nachos barely any meat sour cream and nothing else on it except for nacho cheese. It was more like a nacho supreme but skimped out on toppings mostly nachos! Burritos barely any sour cream, tacos seemed ok...but for $18 and change it's unacceptable! We came back and wanted a refund and gave the food back...we told her at the drive thru we never received a receipt and asked for one...she said I'm sorry because of electrical problems I can't give you one, and when we told her the food was unacceptable, she said "food is food" whatever she meant by that...she said your change is $14 and change but my boyfriend and I knew it was $18 and change...couldn't give us a receipt was blaming her boss and corporate because of electrical problems and that was her excuse for no receipt and then tries to short us on our refund...she ended up giving us the $4 but it was excuse after excuse and it's not our problem there are "electrical issues" as to why we couldn't have a receipt for our debit card purchase for the food...whole experience was terrible and won't go back there again...went next store to Sheetz, got nachos steak burrito and 3 hard tacos and boy what a huge difference in quality of the food and they aren't skimpy...
Read moreTypically an okay place, like any Taco Bell. We go here about 2-3x, MINIMUM a week, ordering at least $20 of food (3 people to feed). Well, tonight, we ordered about $25 of things, and when we got our single jam-packed bag, Santonio said "it's all there", reassuring that we didn't need to check. We drive less than 5 minutes home to find we were missing $6 worth of our food (gordita crunches). Weird, since he assured us it was all there. We call, and drive all the way back to pick up the missing food. Now there's a line, and we wait about 15 extra minutes for the food we were supposed to have. We tell them at the ordering thing that we're here for the missing food, and again, Santonio assures us he's making them fresh. We grab our bag and rush back home to finally eat. The bag REEKS of cinnamon twists, because they threw in a bag as compensation. Without informing us. Additionally, the food wasn't even warm. TOTALLLY made fresh, right? A 4 minute ride down the street in a warm car really cools down food.
Now the person who was missing food can't eat their food because they are severely allergic to cinnamon.
So thanks Santonio. Elyria seems...
