Gourmé Family Restaurant — Restaurant in North Ridgeville

Update October 2024. I am changing my review based on my last visit in mid October. The food in the pictures that I’ve attached does not look like the food the restaurant is serving now. Compare the difference. The pork chops are super thin. They look like they came from Marc’s or Walmart.. The food is a lesser quality now than it used to be. The portions are smaller, the food quality of subpar. It is not fresh food and homemade like it used to be. It is frozen box food from Walmart and various other places that the restaurant owner is shopping at to save money. You could tell because the ketchup is from Walmart on the table -It used to be Heinz ketchup. The fish is not codfish. It’s minced fish from a box. You could taste the difference you could see the little minced pieces in the fish and put two and two together. It’s not good fish that’s fresh like he used to serve. The Italian wedding soup had canned chicken in it not little meatballs like they’re supposed to be. You could tell the restaurant is buying his own food now And being totally cheap with quality. What a shame! The prices do not match up with the food now. If I want to eat frozen box food that’s reheated I would buy it from Walmart and go home myself and make it. It’s 100% true what’s going on will likely be the end of the restaurant itself. The restaurant should go back to ordering it food I get used to. There’s no reason to raise its prices. It needs to research better deals and stop shopping in the frozen section of Walmart. We won’t be back until the restaurant brings up the quality to the way it was before he became a cheapskate. You can’t fool the customer to save money for the restaurant. Close the restaurant if you can’t provide...

This place was extremely racist I'm white my wife is Puerto Rican we walk into this place The one waitress said we could sit wherever we sat down then that waitress tells another waitress okay it's your turn she didn't want to serve us then the other one they made serve us kept on giving my wife the most disgusting looks and everyone just kept on giving us death looks like we should not be there I'm sorry we are from the US we're both born and raised here and the people that work there were European most likely Polish if I could tell the accents correctly on top of everything they overcharged me didn't know what to charge us and they added an extra $10 to our bill oh by the way the home fries were very plain no taste them it seems like they just took a potato smushed it on the grill and let it sit for 10 minutes and then served it to us The cheese it tasted like the cheapest cheese that you could possibly get they told us they were charging us at dollar extra for it well I'll definitely not be coming here ever again I've never experienced this much racism in my...

If your friends with the staff, you get great service. If not, you get ignored. No service, food bland, overall not good. We walked in, were told to seat ourselves, since the person behind us was great friends with the staff and they wanted to talk to them. Husband got cheap coffee while I opted for a soda. He at least got a refill, as our server would only get to the first table before going back behind the counter, and whoever refilled coffee went to every table. Food was bland, nothing to write home about. Couldn't finish my waffle since I had nothing to wash it down with. Asked for a check and was ignored. Went to register to pay, was asked if we had our check, then was asked what table we were.
