Culver’s — Restaurant in North Ridgeville

We came in at about 6:15pm yesterday for ice-cream. We ordered and sat down (got #81) and waited, after 6:40 my husband went back to the counter to ask why we had not been served. Someone at the counter noticed our ice-cream sitting there with other food, partially melted. My husband requested to have two new cups made and came back to the table with our #81. At 6:50 we still had not been served, this time we both went back to the counter to ask for our money back to leave. They had the icecream sitting there again. I asked why it takes 20 minutes to make two ice cream, and we were told "everything takes 20 minutes", which is not true as we had a couple sitting next to us who had ordered right after us, got their food, ate and left while we were still waiting. One of them actually pointed out that she would ask for a refund if we had to wait that long. We have been at that location multiple times in the past, we have always been treated very nice, food was always ready within 10 minutes. We had no noticed a shortage of staff, and the place was not overly busy. If you can't put two ice cream scoops in a cup and bring it to a customer within 20 minutes, then something is wrong. So disappointing and I really hoped Culvert's Restaraunt was going to be a successful addition to our community. It took me 10 minutes to place my order because the cashier was clueless about their menue and I had to explain what I wanted to order 6-7 times. My order was quite simple actually, I wanted the open faced pot roast dinner with mashed potatoes and beef gravy. After waiting 15 minutes for my dinner to be brought out, they served me a roast beef sandwich on a bun and a small order of mashed potatoes in a plastic cup. The sandwich nor the mashed potatoes had gravey on them. The young Manager there was totally unphased by my order being completely wrong as he processed my refund and walked away. The total lack of professionalism and immaturity of the staff will unfortunately result in Culverts being a short lived Restaraunt in our community, in my humble opinion. It should also be noted there were only 4 other patrons in the Restaraunt, 1 car in the drive thru and nobody in line with me. I've been going here with my family and by myself for a few months now, and they are THE SPOT. The quality of food is really good considering how fast the food gets to you. The sheer versatility of the menu is what really surpises me, you don't even have to be in the mood for Culver's to eat it, because there's always something. I swear, this place has the nicest crew and team members too. I want to put in a good word for Maddie, a cashier at this establishment. Everytime I get my order through the drivethrough, she always does a bang-up job, great customer service, and just a really sweet person, always ready and gets me my food quick. I would come in everyday if I knew she was handling my orders. I love it here, I love the people here, and will continue to drop by...
