Super Submarine — Restaurant in North Township

This was definetley more an enjoyable experience then the reviews lead me to believe. Now while it seemed that for cold samdwhiches the menu lacked in many items (lettuce onion etc) what they did have was some of the best turkey I have ever had. (I barely ever eat turkey) my only other two gripes arent really something the business can fix but more of just be aware of. The parking was very limited as its mostly street parking and the kitchen was so loud the worker couldnt hear me I ordered something and he mever confirmed it but I wasnt charged so no major loss there. The peppers looked a little old but they tasted fine so thats also a win.

The man at the counter was excellent he made me feel right at home and the music choice was top notch and dining area clean.

Ultimatley if I were to leave notes increasing the vedge options and maybe removing the gate at the cpunter could make it easier to speak over the machines.

I was going to go with three stars but the dining area was just so cozy with a great and clean vibe.

Loved this place until today. Own my own business in Hessville also. Have been buying and enjoying your sandwiches for over 35 years. Back in the day of the tootsie roll paper. I went there today to purchase lunch for 4 people. Just under 50.00 dollars and am no longer impressed. 4 sandwiches, 4 salads and 4 cans of pop. I understand price increases but the quality and amount of food has drastically changed. The famous Super All Meat is no longer "super", the Italian sausage is cut up in such small pieces and doesn't even have a full sausage on it, the Ham & Cheese had just a couple slices of ham and the meatball was made with I am not sure what kind of meatballs but not what they where years ago. If the size of the sandwiches would have stayed the same I could look passed the price. I was told everything was the same as before but it is not. I've ordered from here a few times and it was good. This time , I came on my lunch break with a big appetite and hopes of great food. I am disappointed because the quality of the meat was very dry and had no flavor. .. even with the help of the condiments . I was frustrated as I spend 14 dollars and couldn't even finish the other half of my sandwich. Another thing that didn't sit right with me is that the heavier set guy who made my sandwich didn't seem to have it together well and probably should have asked for someone to cover him for a break. I was also suprised that he didnt have gloves on when preparing the meals. Even though they gave me alot of meat , it lacked flavor and quality. I may give it another try.
