I will say the food is not âgourmet Italian foodâ but more an Italian take out/ delivery/ or dine in. Personally never had food that was terrible yet not top tier. It has been in business for some 20+ years now and must be doing something right. On the issue of credit cards etc/ for anyone who doesnât know this: even if you use a debit card, âmerchant servicesâ as itâs called charges 4% on overall bill being charged that companies usually âeat the costâ 5% for Amex and it may be more now. And especially in times that we live in with High inflation, higher gas(which effects prices of the food delivery trucks that bring food, that eventually gets prepared at ANY restaurant. Their costs go up, the restaurant go up, and then your bill- add in loosing 4-5% on using a card and weâll you can see how things add up. Obviously restaurants in are in the business of making money$ so for the few people complaining, donât blame the restaurant(unless itâs quality of food or service) all others be mindful and informed when you vote people into elected offices. Just a FYI to make things more in perspective. But I love this place and will continue to order from it unless something...
Read moreTaormina's is one of too many pizzerias in Richboro. Frankly, I'm not certain how such a small community manages to have so many Italian restaurants!? Whatever the reason, Taormina's is among my lesser choices living somewhere in the bottom of my local list.
Mind you, I've never had a bad meal here, though I did find a bug in my salad once (It happens. They gave me the salad for free but the event made dinner awkward and we literally never saw our teenage waiter again that night) but I've never had a particularly good meal here either. The problem for me is that the flavors and quality simply sit in the middle of the pack when compared to it's competitors. That's just not good enough for me.
I'm also not a fan of the restaurant space as the weirdly shaped ceiling and numerous hard surfaces mean that the place can get kinda loud and cacophonous when it is busy.
Look, I've got friends who love this place but I just don't get it......

I am so glad we did! We all opted for full meals, and literally everyone was raving about their food! The service was great as well. I had never been there before but am so glad that our groomsman suggested it. We will most definitely be back. If youâre in need of a larger party, donât hesitate! They saved our night and now the only trouble I have is hoping that the food at the wedding lives up to the...
