Krua Thai — Restaurant in Northfield Township

One of the best Thai food places around and when he was even in the city and then all the sudden he sold his place and I couldn't find him so I moved out to Northbrook and I kept wanting to go to this place to eat I finally stop there unbelievable it was him from the city some of the best Thai food that I've eaten and I've been to a lot of type of places the Thai peanut sauce is to die for it I could eat it right out of a bucket basil chicken is amazing yum nor hot Thai beef salad you don't have to get a hat that is the best that I've ever had in any type place his food is unbelievablei've tried everyone of his dishes and no one in any type place has every dish taste good I've been to other Tete food places in three out of their whole list of good in the other ones ain't this guy here every day she has is going to go check it out trust me I dident get a belly like this for...

Krau thai was delicious. I got the beef pad that and my wife got tofu pad thai and it hit the spot. We were coming from out of town and saw that they were open until 730 on Sunday. Come to find that when we got there at 7, they were closing up shop but still accommodated us anyway and were really nice about it. We told them we were really sorry we didn't know you guys closed early but they said, don't worry, if we didn't take any orders we could have just said no.

Lastly, their crab cheese was literally the best crab cheese we've ever had! So unique from the typical chinese crab cheese. Great cheese to wonton ratio, sauce was terrific and the texture on the outside was amazing.

We will be coming back if we come to Northbrook...

Yet another update - food is still really good! My son doesn't like Pad Thai, but he does like it from here. The Pad Thai is flavorful but not saucy as other Thai places here.

Update - visited again after not being here in a while. Still love the lunch special - the chef still makes awesome dumplings & crab rangoon. It's kind of like McDonald's fries - that's the best part of the meal, its that good!

I've eaten at many Thai places, so I'll share what's distinctive about this place. They make really good fried food - crispy egg rolls, crab rangoon, and pot stickers are absolutely excellent. I'd go here...
