Liquid fusion oh how I wish you were closer to me... But how I always end up there is ridiculous and even more to think I can be productive and study there is absurd. But this review is more than just this.
Their bubble teas are simply the best. I've had joyees, tea leaf, seven treasures, and coffee haus and Liquid just blows them out of the water in terms of taste and their tapioca. Look fresh tasty fruit without good tapioca is like chinese food without rice. Yeah the main dish is great and tasty but rice compliments it and completes the meal. If this analogy doesn't work for you, I'm terribly sorry forgive me.
But seriously their tapioca's texture is perfect, not too soft, not too sticky, subtle sweetness, and perfect firmness makes this the best boba tea. Not only that but their fruit is always fresh and sweet! Real fruit my friends!
And not only that but they have free wifi and have a club card in which you use to get a point for each purchase; 10th one gets you a free small boba tea! But make sure you give the card before you pay.
Other than this my only gripe about the place is the price is a bit high for a simple drink but not over the top. Also the place is usually packed with people and there ain't much space so it can get quite rowdy especially with the high schoolers coming in and out. So if you want to study, make sure to bring ear plugs or headphones or better yet just get your awesome boba tea to go and study at panera, or dunkin robins.
Well what you waiting for, go enjoy the best boba tea!
Oh by the way my favorite drink is Mango Watermelon Lychee with tapioca! Hands down the best combination! Try it, you will...
Read moreOne of my friends had suggested this place long time back to try out the bubble tea at their Glenview location - so waited like 3 to 4 yrs to go there as we live far away from this place - however got a chance to go there last night and we were all really excited- this place was very crowded ! Asked an elderly guy at the check-out counter what their most popular bubble tea (flavor combination) was and asked him to suggest a few options for us as well - as we were going there for the first time - the guy was very mean and rude !! It seemed like he was either too tired or he didnot enjoy the job he was doing at all!! --- and we ended up making all the wrong choices for our bubble tea , as we had to hurry due to the long line behind us! Had he been a little nice and if he had suggested a couple good flavor combinations for bubbletea - it would have been a slightly better experience 'may be' - however, we are not going there ever again!!! Coz I felt their bubble tea wasn't necessarily the best anyways !!! We tried 4 different flavors and all were just an ok and...
Read morecame here the other day and was met with attitude from one of the staff. ‘No tapioca’ sign was up but I didn’t see it (because I get anxious in public so I memorize my order ahead of time and don’t like looking around the store so I keep to myself). Then he pointed to it all rudely and in a really bad tone said ‘anything else?’
I worked food before, I know it’s a exhausting. I came back from a hard shift at Amazon right before going to this location, I was tired so SORRY if I didn’t read the sign. So I had enough of that attitude and I should have left the store if I’m being honest. He was rude to the people in front of me so I should have took that as a sign.
Never had an issue at the Lincolnshire one but maybe you should hire more staff so they don’t feel over worked or pay them more so they feel better. Would say hi to staff and would be met with silence and a blank stare lately. So I’ll just take that as a sign that they hate it there lol.
Will not be coming back after going for years, hopefully things get better...
