This place is RIDICULOUS!!!! I have just ordered 3 meal ( Dogani Seolleongtang, Pork- Hot&Spicy, Wang Galbitang) with UberEats. First of all the portion is a joke! Our total amount was $97.51 and all we received was 2 empty plain soup in containers with 3 pieces of meatless ribs on the side. Is this a joke? Since the order is to go they thought they can send whatever? Spicy pork is just overly spiced big chunk of pork, can't you at least chop the pork to make it easier to eat it? I had to cut it with scissors. Regarding the order I have just called them to inform about the soup that was missing beef slices as they appeared in the picture of it. Their answer was " it is what it is, you had to order it in addition to get beef slices, so be it, try to get refund if you can, goodluck, bye and just hung up the phone!????!?! What kind of customer service is it? I had to pay $20.99 for empty soup? I had to order extra for the beef slices? Joke joke joke I understand todays economy all this recession and and everything but I didn't know even restaurants are SCAMMING the customers with fake menu until today! Do not recommend them,...
Read moreThis is our favorite Korean place. Their seollengtang is delicious and rich. No trace of MSG and I appreciate that it comes unsalted so I can salt it to my liking. It also comes with rice noodles and an abundant amount of sliced brisket and shank inside. You know this bone broth has been boiled for a long time because when you take home the left over soup and refrigerate it, it becomes extremely gelatinous. The price is extremely reasonable and their side dishes tastes like my mom’s banchan. They are the best! Service is always great. Whenever a family member is sick, we order takeout soup and it is always packaged well and they don’t skimp on quality or quantity just because it’s a take out order. I also really like their Wang Kalbi Tang. The meat pieces are tender and there is so much meat on the bones. I could not recommend this...
Read moreThe atmosphere was nice and the server lady was also good. Our issue was with the food. Sullungtang was rather bland and plain. It wasn’t worth 17.99 for thin broth and the amount of meat and noodles weren’t much for that price. We also ordered Dwejigogi galbi. It wasn’t galbi (ribs) meat. It was just sliced pork marinated in galbi bbq sauce which was also very oily. Again, the portion wasn’t much compared to the price point (24.99). Also, please consider using kitchen scissors- we were given regular pair of Fiskars (the one you use for office/school/craft/sewing) and it was just unsanitary. We ordered extra side of noodles- and literally, it was just a spoonful which we were charged $2 for. We had high hopes for this place, but for the price and quality of the food, I would recommend Joongbu Mart food court or So Gong Dong...
