I was super excited to get a poke place in Glenview, but the experience was sadly disappointing. Of all the poke restaurants I’ve been to, there’s never been one where a regular bowl = one small scoop of fish, it’s usually two heaping ones. The toppings selection was also unsatisfying (5 veggies counting lettuce) and as one reviewer mentioned - everything was extra (seaweed salad, crab salad, avocado, massago…these are usually included). Feels like the owners should visit some poke joints to see how things are run and portioned. They are obviously benefiting from a lack of competition, but I’ll be driving to Evanston...

Poke bros offers amazing portions of high quality fish, rice, veggies, and their sauces are all amazing, Together the poke is just delicious and this is coming from someone who visits hawaii to eat poke often. The quality of the fish is so fresh and amazing. I come here almost every week after school or a long day and can easily get a bowl of poke in less than 5 mins.
