Denver Foodie Finds 😍 All-You-Can-Eat Italian Buffet That Beats Chinese Buffets

Out on a shopping trip yesterday and we decided to stop in at Cinzzetti's Italian Market in Northglenn. We were seated immediately and our waitress Serenity took our order and was back with our drinks promptly. There is no real plan on what to eat here as it is so massive that it is overwhelming to try everything they have. Me I went with some of the basics to begin with. I got the Caesar Salad which was super fresh, Parmesan was super tasty on the salad. I also chose the Lasagna which the sauce was made with chunky tomatoes that were very flavorful, add the fresh bechamel and a light dusting of cheese on top. Yummy!! Also had some fried fish which was nice and crunchy on the outside and fresh on the inside. The Fettuccine Alfredo was cooked perfectly and was nice and creamy. OMG!! But my favorite was the Chicken Marsala Rotini. It was to die for with a nice creamy sauce, super flavorful sauce, add in the perfectly cooked mushroom. I could have just had this by itself and been satisfied. On to desserts. The Apple Crisp had a nice blend of cinnamon with apples and sauce with a crispy crust. The cannolis had a nice crunch to the outside and a smooth creamy inside. So tasty. The Raspberry crisp was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. But the star of the desserts was a chocolate cake that had a phenomenal chocolate sauce in it. OMG!! A plus was that they were fresh out of the oven. Well that was the end. You can't possibly try everything in one trip. Spread it out over a few different visits. The inside of the venue is decorated perfectly to make it nice and cozy. And another shoutout to our waitress Serenity, she rocked it our whole visit.

Buffets always diminish their food quality and service the longer they’re open, Cinzetti’s doesn’t. Lovely place all around. This Italian food joint has excellent food, great service and a beautiful interior. The food at Cinzettis is so good it’s crazy. Theres chefs making all of it in front of you at every station: A chef at a pizza station, a chef with the meat, chicken, appetizers, a chef making the soup and salads, a chef at a crepe station, a chef at a baking station, a chef at the pasta station, and a chef at the ice cream station. The food is very authentic and can be altered at request of dietary restrictions. The service is very good. They take your drink orders and from there you are free to grab what you want. Usually when you’re grabbing the next plate is when your old ones disappear. The service isn’t anything especially special, but it’s pretty good overall. If it’s your first time the person who takes you to your table will give you a quick tour. The atmosphere of the place is very beautiful. There are several rooms to be seated in and the decorations are unique. There’s wall art and design, hanging decor and warm colored lights that make the restaurant cozy.

I came here when the mask mandate was still up and unfortunately this restaurant has made some mistakes that prove to make me face the other way in thinking about coming again. THE FOOD: The food could have been better, I'm not going to be harsh on the taste and quality of the food since it is a buffet and it should be expected that most of these dishes are prepared in mass which causes the quality to drop. The food is, yes, bland and not very high quality, I had expected hope with the desserts but still found that they too had very little taste. That doesn't mean everything in the restaurant was mediocre though, the fried chicken was great! I also enjoyed the sauce that is given with the calamari. THE PASTA: The pasta was okay, nothing too crazy but also not much to stand out. You will find a diverse set of pastas but most of them will have a sort of bland taste. THE HYGENE: I was very sad and disappointed to see that the staff of the restaurant did not care to disperse any large groups in front of the store or tell people to put their masks on when I went during the mask mandate. People were gathered outside without masks on, and while entering the store I noted that there were many people not wearing masks and being served by the staff. The thing that really got me was the fact that the silverware that was being used to take food from the stands were in fact dirty. I have a picture of the big spoons that people were to use to get food, and before you ask no it is not the spoons that people put in the dirty bins; you can see that there is cloudy water resting on the spoons. It is not very appetizing to see that the food is touching what appears to be dirty water. Not only that, if you look closely you will see a hair that is sitting within the spoons. Unfortunately I was very dismayed to see this but used other available silverware to retrieve my food. THE SERVICE: The service was great! All the staff were very polite, kind, and checked in on me in a timely manner throughout my experience at the restaurant.

winter 2024 update -- it's definitely getting downhill, and not as popular. Also a bit of germ bed, three of us got C***D after a lunch there recently. Have not been here for many years, great to see it still doing it well. Lots of space in the Thornton location with lots people on Saturday for the Brunch, with at least two birthday parties going on during the hours. Dinner menu looks better (cost the same) so next time probably try dinner rather than the brunch. Service was good. Egg Benedict was not bad (not salty) and run out very quick but they try very hard to keep it coming. Out of all the pasta, the Chicken Marsala Pasta was the best with good favor. Other pasta were just pasta... For pizza, the Margarita had the best favor and great thin crest. Fry fish had too much batter and earth favor in the fish (probably from the type of fish it used.) The Tuscan-Spiced Rotisserie Chicken was not bad in the earlier batch but a bit less favor in the later batch (probably from not enough time in the Tuscan spiced sauce after roasted.) It was popular so it might not had enough time for sauce to cook into for the later batches. Great to see Rocky Road ice cream, and it was good. So was the butter Pecan, what a way to touch up the meal!! (Was told the chocolate ice cream was smooth also.) In the most recent trip, the food wasn't as good as past. (Different cooks at station might have be the reason, as this team doesn't seem to care about cooking and it certainly reflected in the dishes they prepared. For example chicken overcooked, egg stay out, potato overly seasoned ....)

Updated review 02/14/2023 So we wanted to eat there, didn't really care that it was Valentine's day. Everything was the same expect they had roast beef and chocolate covered strawberries that day. Guess they wanted the theme for valentine's day? The bill comes, Lo and behold, it's almost doubled the regular price. Didnt really think too much about it. Paid the tab plus tip. Turns out they raised their prices for the day because of the "Holiday" and had a small sign at the door with the prices for day marked up. Nobody else mentioned this to us when we went inside. The price for one adult is pretty much the same price you'd pay to eat at Texas De Brazil. And price for kid normally a special on Tuesday for 3.99 I think) is $12. This didn't make sense at all. If I wanted to pay that much for a Buffet, I'd go to one that serves you more than just plain roast beef and chocolate covered strawberries. And yes, they has a paper sign taped to the door, but you'd think they'd mentioned this before seating us or even the server would say something. Very deceptive. Average food for Italian but for the value can't be beat (check on holiday, because they've raised their prices on Valentine's day).
