I used to love this place. We drove all the way up from SE Denver, and should have known something was up in that seating was available on the same day. That never happens. The hostess proceeded to sit us, a couple, in the family room, which was loud as hell and extremely uncomfortable. Why would you seat a couple in that space? We were looking for the Italian experience not the employee lounge. It was a two top, not hard to seat. Perhaps keeping the kids contained to one area is a better idea because they were running around like it was their personal playground. Almost got a plateful of your watered down spaghetti dead center because it's absolute chaos.

Unfortunately this restaurant's food has gone down hill. The sauces on every pasta were watery. That means you didn't take the time with it and add a bit of pasta water to thicken. The chicken cacetori was so dry it was inedible. That means you're not paying attention to timing. Fried foods were sitting in grease. The chicken Parm looked like a banquet meal. The pizza was reminiscent of CiCis, not kidding. It was cold and the cheese was congealing. The only thing that had some flavour was the meatloaf, which was dry, and the rice pilaf was good, but extremely watered down. The house salad was also decent. Your bread sticks were as hard as actual sticks. The to rosemary potatoes were hard and dripping in grease. Nothing was fresh. It's like you pre cooked a bunch of food and then put it in holding for the 5pm dinner rush. Everything used to be cooked fresh but your cooks were all putzing around.

The desert was even disappointing. The chocolate souffle was so dry and almost taste burnt. The cream puffs cream was dripping out, almost as if it wasn't kept cold enough. The tiramasu was the only desert that tasted good and seemed fresh. Everything else was terrible.

The waiter was so stretched thin, because every table was a 10 or 20 top, that we finished a full plate and had started on our 2nd before he finally brought our drinks.

What's more, Cinzettis has become the Furrs Cafeteria of Italian. For $21.50 per plate, and a stomach ache, unless something majorly changes, this will be the last time we make that trek.
