If you want POOR service, HAIR, and MOLD in your food, this is the perfect place for you. I am hating the fact that I am writing a review in the first place and at that, a bad review, but this was by far the WORST restaurant experience I’ve ever had. Not to mention we made a reservation in an app (because they don’t take reservations over the phone...) hours in advance and still waited almost an hour to be seated. After finally being seated and my party and I ordering our food, they got the food out in a pretty decent amount of time, but as they served me my food, there was a LONG, THICK, RED hair cooked into my french toast. I start pulling the hair out of my french toast, and my server just watches me. She doesn’t say anything, she just watches until I say, “Ummmmmm.... There is a hair cooked into my french toast.” (I’m a brunette and my hair is a little shorter than shoulder length so there is no way it could have come from me or anyone at my table.) My sever skeptically takes the plate out of my hand, looks at the hair, doesn’t apologize and says, “I’ll get you a new one.” At this point I’m thinking awesome, she’ll get me a new one, no big deal. Well, I wait and wait and wait. Everyone in my party gets their food and is eating and I’m just waiting. People in my party are finished eating and I still haven’t gotten my food. Right as I’m about to wave a waiter down my waitress approaches me and says they’re working on my food so, I sit back and relax. We were in no hurry. They finally bring me my plate of french toast and after taking a couple of bites, I couldn’t bring myself to finish my meal. It tasted AWFUL! My husband looks over at me and asks me what’s wrong because not finishing my meal is very out of character for me. I told him that something tasted off... He thought I was being dramatic because of the hair I found earlier so he cut himself a big piece and literally had to choke it down because of the off taste. We thought maybe it was just the crust that tasted bad so I went to cut a piece out of the center and something caught my eye, TWO PATCHES OF MOLD! I literally couldn’t believe my eyes. I turned my plate and asked my husband what he thought it was, and immediately he said MOLD! We passed the plate around the whole table and there was no denying what it was. I took pictures of it because I literally wanted to vomit. We were all in disbelief. I waited for the waitress to come back and I waved her down once again. I told her there was mold on both pieces of my French toast and that it tasted awful. She took my plate out of my hands and said, AND I QUOTE, “Let me ask my manager.” .....? Like I need your manager to tell me and 11 other adults what mold is. Well, the waitress never returns. As my party and I are leaving I see her standing awkwardly by the kitchen and I approach her. I had to ask if she was going to charge me for the hair and the two pieces of moldy bread. She then replies, “My manager says it’s just char.” Char? Green char? I’m 24 years old, I’m pretty sure I know what mold looks like, as does everyone else Im with. But forget that, or an apology, or them trying to compensate me in any way shape or form. I couldn’t believe they were going to charge me 9, almost $10 for hair and moldy bread so as I turned to walk away she finally says, “I’ll take it off... I guess.” Long story short, this was never about a free meal, my father in law was paying so it didn’t matter what I got or how much it cost because it wasn’t coming out of my pocket. This was about the experience with my family. Instead of having fun and making memories, I was focused/worried about my food and then their poor customer service. They had several different chances to leave a good impression on me and the people I was with and they failed in every possible way. It was flat out embarrassing because they made me feel humiliated and wrong for wondering if they were going to charge me for inedible food. My opinion is go put your money towards a place that values their customers and the experience their...

I noticed the shelf for door dash but it was completely empty. It's only 2 minutes after my quoted time so I decide to wait. While waiting another customer asks why she hasn't been seated since she made online reservations and has been waiting over 30 minutes, yet a couple that just walked in was seated before her. They apologized and got her a table.
Next either the owner or manager comes up and starts calling names for a table, he calls out a name and waits 2 seconds before he moves onto the next name. People are waiting outside, in the vestibule and inside, the only people that can hear their name being called are very close. I'm sure a few names that were called were outside waiting.
Now I've been waiting 20 minutes for my meal and still no to-go orders on the shelf. So I again ask if they can check on my order. I'm told they are out of one of the items I ordered and she will check on the rest of my order. I watch where she goes and see her get some orders that were sitting there and placed them in a bag. She then goes out of sight which I assume is to get my drinks. About a minute later she comes up with the bag and my drinks. She explains the item they were out of will get credited after the close of business.
After getting home, the food was ok, edible but definitely not satisfying. I paid just over $50 for 2 peoples brunch and the side of fruit was 4 grapes and 2 pineapple chunks. (See picture, with quarter to show size) What kind of markup BS is this? Also my food sat there for at least 10 minutes getting cold, so needless to say my food was not fresh any longer.
The whole issue with this place is they need better management. First if someone comes in for a to-go order, go check on it, don't be lazy and act like your being inconvenienced. Next, don't leave people's food sitting in back when they are there to pick it up. Also, maybe check if the person you are calling to be seated might be waiting outside as your waiting area is very very small. Last, make your meals match your prices, 6 small pieces of fruit is not considered a side. (See picture with quarter...
Read moreWas told the wait was 30 to 45 mins on Saturday morning around 930am, actual wait time was 1hr 40m not including the time to be seated and receive our meals. During my own wait, I personally counted 86 customers walk in and and promptly leave after hearing about the wait time. Menu is clear and offers good detail on nutrition info. Healthyish options throughout. Breakfast tacos and lemon ricotta pancakes were terrific! Wait staff was polite and helpful but disorganized, food served without silverware after sitting for 30mins. Seating inside was loud, decor is urban/industrial/modern. Overall pretty clean dining area even though the place was extremely busy. I will have to try again when this place is less busy to get a better sense of value, but based on this last experience I cannot recommend it on a Saturday due to the available options within the area having similar value and far less wait time. (Possibly call ahead and get on the list?) Also, if you are hearing impaired you may want to reconsider anyway. I do not need hearing aids, but my wife and I were almost shouting each other to hear each other at a very small table. A note to management: You have a great location and great food, but need to work with staff to be better organized and train them to politely help usher customers along when their meals are wrapped up. Saturday morning is undoubtedly a high volume time for your restaurant, and the operation should adjust to accommodate a timely service for customers so as to avoid the very long wait times and lost business. Many of the folks that left before being seated were quite unhappy and made negative comments on the way out the door. I hope this message is considered as constructive, I did enjoy the food and very much want to see the place...
