My husband and I weren't originally planning on coming here, but Longhorn looked super busy, so we decided to give Tony Roma's a try. Honestly, we wish we would have just waited or gone to McDonalds. Things started out fine, but we once we got our waters things started going downhill. The water tasted super weird - not just like it was tap water. Tap water is fine. It tasted like sea water or dirty dish water. After ordering our food, we decided to get drinks since we didn't want to drink the water. We ordered two long islands. We were brought an iced tea and a coke. We were finally able to flag down our waiter (who seemed to be MIA most of the time) to let him know that we had received the wrong drinks. He brought the right drinks about 10-15 minutes later, and apologized because he had apparently brought our drinks to the wrong table. We said it was fine. We don't like to cause a stink, and mistakes happen. No biggie. But then our food came out. I ordered a NY Strip medium rare, and it came out medium well. I also asked for nothing on my baked potato but butter, but it was absolutely COVERED in sour cream. My husband got the ribs, which didn't look very good and were super tough. He had to go at them like a freaking rabid dog to get the meat off the bone. Could we have told our server that our food wasn't what we asked for? Probably. If we could find him anywhere. Meanwhile, we can see other servers who looked like they were doing wonderfully, and other people sitting and seemingly having a wonderful time. I'm not sure if we just came at the wrong time or just got the wrong server, but we wasted $100 on a meal we didn't even enjoy. Our check sat on the table a good 10 minutes before a lovely waitress came by and gave it to our waiter for us. Thank you for that, by the way. I'm not saying Tony Roma's is bad or that the staff is bad, but our experience was...
Read moreRecently, my colleagues and I attended a symposium and ended up at your hotel for some drinks and food. Initially, we sat at the bar, but the bartender on duty, a blonde with shoulder-length hair, was extremely unfriendly towards us for no apparent reason. Baffled by her hostility, we moved to the dining area and asked for a different staff member to serve us. To our dismay, the hostile bartender approached the other waitresses and aggressively announced that she would be taking our checks, within earshot of everyone at our table, even though someone else was supposed to take our orders and serve us for the rest of the evening. This behavior was appalling and completely unacceptable. The hostility of the blonde bartender towards her colleagues was unwarranted and showed her greed. I made it clear that I did not want the bartender to wait on my group of eight. We wanted to have a good time and enjoy our meal together. Despite being humiliated by the blonde bartender, the waitresses in the dining area agreed to send us Adel, a new waitress who had just started working at your location a few days earlier. Adel's service was exceptional. She brought a positive and cheerful attitude to our table, making sure every order was exactly right and ensuring that our glasses were never empty. She provided outstanding attention to each person at the table, treating us with respect and making us feel like VIPs. Adel's customer service was so amazing that we brought even more people to your restaurant the next night, specifically requesting her to wait on our group. Thanks to Adel's excellent service, we had a fantastic experience at your restaurant and left with rave reviews. We will definitely be coming back to Tony Roma's every time we attend a gathering in Northglenn. Adel's exceptional service turned what could have been a disaster into a memorable experience....
Read moreWe were here, on 26th June 2023, around 9 PM for dinner. Here is the sequence of events:
NOTE - there were hardly 6 tables that were occupied
We entered and waited for a few mins to be seated. The hostess gives us the menu and within 10 secs a waitress jumps on us asking us what would we like for drinks. I mean we haven’t even looked at the menu yet. We asked for a few mins and she rolled her eyes and walked away We decide on our drinks and appetizer, we let the waitress know. We ask for some water. The waitress walked away. She came back with one drink and asked for few more mins to get the 2nd drink (mind you, no water yet). She apologized forgetting the water :) She comes back with the 2nd drink and no sight of water. We were tired so I ended up walking to the bar to get the water myself. The bartender there, without even listening to why I was there, just says “my computer is down”. To which I say “I just need water”. He made a face but thankfully served some water. The waitress came back with our appetizer and food. By now she completely forgot that we asked for water and didn’t even seem to bother, that we had to walk up to the bar and get it. Meanwhile a big family next to us had been waiting for their food for over an hour. They were frustrated and left! Now the waitress serving them started a drama. She started crying and once she stopped, went to other table that she was serving and started talking nonsense about the customers who had left, as if it was their fault, after waiting for food for over an hour.
If you had staffing issues, why not tell the customers upfront. No one comes and pays money to have delayed and bad service. To top it, see your drama. You are in hospitality business. Have a tough day? Don’t vent it on your customer. And mind you these were all experienced people and not...
