Parsons Theatre — Attraction in Northglenn

Parson's is a medium sized theater which houses productions of many varieties. Upon entering the front doors of the building, you're greeted above by a huge chandelier light display in the shape of six red and gold columbines (a very impressive tribute to the blue columbine which is the Colorado state flower). There are restrooms located on the main level adjacent to the theater, (neat, clean, and convenient too!) When you enter the theater through the mezzanine level (doors located on the right and left of the front desk), be alert that you'll have to walk down fairly steep stairs. The theater has stadium seating that leads more than halfway down through the theater from the back, but then opens up to a slightly sloped orchestra level in the front. If you have issues with taking stairs though, there's an elevator around the side that leads to the lower level where you'll enter through side doors for orchestra seating. Note: the seating is straight across the theater with no center aisles, so if you tend to be claustrophobic, you might want to choose a side aisle seat. The seats are comfortable except if you want to cross your legs--it's a tight squeeze for long legs, (another reason to grab an aisle seat.😉) From my point of view, it doesn't seem like there are any bad seats in the house, but I've only been there twice. The sound was pretty good and at a decibel that didn't leave one feeling deaf for the next several hours. Sometimes sound magicians tend to tweak up the sound to a deafening roar, but that wasn't the case last night for the Summit Academy's production of "Footloose". The kids did a fantastic job of acting, singing, and handling all things related to the production; a very enjoyable theater experience, indeed!...

What a lovely little gem. We visited this theater for a performance of "Mom's Unhinged" (which we highly recommend). Despite living a few miles away, I was unaware of this theater and delighted to visit a local establishment. Parking is convenient and free, very close to the theater entrance. The theater itself is in excellent condition and looks practically new. Great concession counter with reasonably priced libations, and you could bring beverages into the theater itself. I would definitely attend...

Nice theater with great sound system. Easy access to seats for handicap seating. Must use elevator for lower level handicap seating. There are some handicap seats up high accessible from lobby. Front seats have great view of stage.

I watched a high school musical performance here, and thought the production was very good.
