If you want to get shamed by the employees for the amount of sugar you put in your coffee this is definitely the place to go!
Stopped at this location after dropping my boyfriend off at work to pick up a doordash order that was going back the direction I needed to go and figured I would order myself an iced coffee because I have the unlimited sip club. Every other Panera I've ever gone to has the liquid cane sugar out by their coffee. This one didn't so I asked a guy at the counter if they had the liquid sugar that other panera's keep out by their coffee station and he said yes but they keep it in the back by their barista station so I asked him if I could use some because the granulated sugar doesn't dissolve when you're trying to make an iced coffee. Then he said he could go get me a couple squirts and I said I need like 12 or 14 because to me, the liquid sugar is about half as sweet as the sugar packets are so I canneed about double the liquid sugar versus how much granulated sugar i would need for the same amount of coffee.
He went back and got it for me once I had already started putting granulated sugar packets in there and was just going to put a little hot coffee in there to melt it so I dumped out the granulated sugar and start making my iced coffee and that's when I hear at least two or three people judging me for how I'm making my coffee. Audible enough to where I could hear it so I know other people heard it. Saying things like I guess she just wants a little coffee with her sugar one man even told me to put some creamer in there and that would sweeten it up. Panera only has half and half and almond milk available. So I'm not exactly sure how both of those unsweetened things were going to sweeten up a large iced coffee. I also don't put ice in my iced coffee because I have temperature sensitive teeth and can't eat things if they're too hot or too cold.
It shouldn't matter how much of anything I want to put in my own coffee. It's my body and my money to spend. That is nobody else's business but my own. I definitely don't deserve to be judged for the amount of sugar I'm putting in a very large coffee.
I drink one coffee a week and I fully regret wasting it on this subpar...
Read moreI order the new pizza but was very disappointed. Apparently the girl who was making it had said to a co-worker oops, some of the cheese came off of it. The other girl said don't worry we can add more cheese to it. There's only three people total in the entire restaurant at the time that I went. And I knew I was the only one who had ordered that and was waiting on it. I don't think she realized that I could hear her in the booth that I was in. Took a little longer than I thought it would the finally I got my pizza. Very disappointed in the fact that the pizza wasn't even that hot even though it came out of the oven. Then I see why. Because the cheese came off in the oven the first time the added more cheese after the fact which made mozzarella chunks on they're not melted. so I guess that made the pizza cold. Because it wasn't melty and hot like a pizza should be. I ate it and did not complain only simply because I didn't want to have them try to figure out how to make it right and it was later in the evening. I just wanted to eat and leave. Even while I was eating my lukewarm pizza I could hear one of the ladies complaining to another oneabout one of their customers in the Drive-Thru they just had. Very unprofessional. Customers in the restaurant who can hear you talk about other customers. Makes this customer question what you say about me when I leave. I would...
Read moreOut of coffee at 9am? Check. Try to order a basic bagel/egg/cheese sandwich, only to have the girl at the counter almost stumped? Check. She "created" my 3-ingredient sandwich "a la carte" which ended up costing me almost twice of what it should have (she didn't know any other way).
It gets better!
Instead of getting a sandwich, what did I get? A sliced/toasted bagel in a bag, and a scrambled egg square with melted cheese packed separately in a side serving cup with a lid. So I got a sandwich "kit" instead of a sandwich. Understaffed, with no one at the counter most of the time I waited? Check (see photo). I watched as it took forever for someone to come and take away the empty coffee carafes, and the whole time I was there, no one brought them back. A 10-minute+ wait to get my a la carte (aka sandwich kit) sandwich? Check. Really disappointed at what Panera has become. Unreliable, and a general feel of apathy warmed over from the moment I got there. I gave two stars because, despite the comedy-of-errors, the egg/cheese/bagel kit I assembled was...
