Horrible experience from a place my family and I go to eat a lot . Called in for a party of ten to join the waitlist the lady on the phone said for such a big party space would be limited as they only have a few spots to sit people down together. I understand and join the wait . Checked in at 610 pm and the host told us it would be a 35-45 minute Wait and we would receive text when we would be seated . After waiting in the car for a hour I went to get an update on the status , host told us they where waiting for a big party to get up so we could be seated “we are next on the list to be seated “ . Another 45 minutes go by and again I go get an update and I am told they are a change of plans they are waiting for a big booth to sit us in and a table next to it “they have their check and we will seat you guys next “. As I’m waiting “next in line “ I watch a few party of 4,5,6 and a party of 12 be seated . 810pm comes by and I finally get a text to be seated , the host proceeded to walk us to our table just to sit us a two separate tables 6 feet apart ! Not one time while waiting and getting updates on the status did they tell me we would be seated at two 5 top tables separate. Had they originally told me this I would not have waited over two hours to have a nice dinner with my family separately. I asked the manager if there was a way we could put the two tables together and she told me store policy they could not allow us . I was ok with the policy I politely asked if this was the case why did we wait hours to get seated if they where going to sit us separate any ways ? Why did they seat the 12 top before us when I clearly had checked in atleast a hour before them ? She tried telling me they more than likely checked in online , however when I tried getting on the wait list it clearly stated any parties over 4 will need to call in the check availability so it does not give you an option to join the wait . I had no problem waiting 2 hours to enjoy a nice meal with my family how ever if they had told me we would not be seated together and instead sat at two different tables seated 5 and 5 why did we wait so long ? Why would they tell us we would be sat next in line and lie about all the seating arrangements they where trying to make to sit us together . The manager was rude when tried asking for an explanation and could not give me a valid reason as to why they sat so many parties before us after being told multiple times where where next on the list . Overall a horrible experience and will never eat at that location...
Read moreThis was the first time eating at this restaurant and it was not a pleasant experience. The biggest complaint we had was the wait staff. We were there for 2 hours and seen our waitress 3 times. We were seated for over 25 minutes before she greeted us and took our drink order. By that time we had already looked over the menu and was ready to order our meal. Each time we asked her for something she left and never came back with it. We had to keep waving down other wait staff and the hostess for help and you can tell they were all clearly not happy to be doing her job. We weren't even offered 1 refill on our drinks the entire time we were there so sat with no beverages after half the meal. Now I know what you must be thinking it was a busy Saturday night, um not really after it hit 8.30pm! Our waitress had 3 tables aside from ours and they weren't getting service either. She would disappear to the back and was no where to be seen for 10-15 minutes at a time. Now as for the food. The bread was not that great. I took a bite and sat it down. It wasn't appetizing at all and the butter was way to hard to spread onto it. For appetizers we got the Tonion. It was okay, nothing special. The dipping sauce was gross so ordered ranch instead to dip in. I ordered a lobster tail and had to send it back because it was rubber from being over cooked or sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The replacement one was amazing. My fiance got a porter house steak. It was cooked to perfection and so moist and tender. The only 'good' part of the meal. We did however have to ask 3 times for steak sauce. The 1st time we were brought an empty bottle. Took 5 minutes to flag someone else down to get some and took another time reminding them we asked for it before it brought to our table. We also got asparagus, mashed potatoes and a baked potatoes. The potatoe sides were excellent, the asparagus was mushy. Overall I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will stick with Texas Roadhouse going forward. I'd stay clear of this place and spend your hard earned money in a restaurant that cares about...
Read moreSo for the sake of honesty I’ve been here before. It’s been an amazing eat and I really enjoyed it. But today our reservation was set to 7 and they didn’t have it ready. You would think the obvious solution is to scramble to get the reservation seated ASAP which is custom in fast food industry. But we waited another hour for our reservation! Nothing to compensate for the wait either. Not a manager visit, condolences, or anything. Just an annoyed staff mad at us for wanting to have our reservation at the time we made. If this is the definition of Longhorn hospitality then unfortunately there are other places that offer better, like McDonalds or even someplace like Burger King. And to make matters worse our reservation was sat at 3 separate tables, not together for the birthday we were coming for. And then we had a server who kept slamming drinks down on our table. Like I understand that when it gets busy you have to be efficient with your time to get the most tips but slamming the drinks on the table is not okay. How are the food runners and bussers the most hospitable people of the night?! Why did I come away from tonight feeling like I was a burden to be served?! I am not a burden. . . I will pay generously for good service, I will come back time and time again for a good product. It’s business 101. Thankfully the food was very good and I was very impressed with the Parmesan chicken! It was cooked perfectly and the ribs literally fell off of the bone! Whoever was leading the BOH tonight was on it, we got the food in a good amount of time and the food was tasty! The only issue was some undercooked steak but that’s an easy fix. And the jack and coke I ordered was plenty strong! However whoever was in FOH was slacking in the hospitality department, literally a key part of the FOH. I will probably not be back which sucks cause the Parmesan chicken was something I’ve never had and was out of this world. But if this is the state of FOH and the servers here than I can find a steakhouse...
