McDonald's — Restaurant in Northport

Consistently awful. The food is fine. It's McDonald's so the food itself is predictable. However, the service here is utterly, shockingly, horrendous. I got the number of the owner's office and left a message to let them know what's going on at this location, but never got a call back. I don't think the management cares. One time recently we waited 45 minutes for a simple to-go order for only 2 people. During this wait, we didn't receive our cups. I was standing in line to ask for our cups when three people came in, went straight to the front of the line, and began chatting, laughing, and being rowdy with the person at the register. They were obviously acquaintances. The person at the register held up the line for over 10 minutes while enjoying the company of her friends who came in. She was loudly talking with them including swearing. Several people in line walked out. Then someone from the kitchen walks outside through the lobby for a smoke break right outside the door. He comes back in smelling of smoke, shakes hands with that same group of people talking to the cashier, goes back into the kitchen and starts putting fries in the fryer without washing his hands from the smoke break and handshake. There were various people all waiting extensively for food, but that group of friends who ordered after everyone, got their food almost immediately. All the people behind the counter were complaining and talking to each other and completely oblivious to the customers. It was truly shocking. The last time I went there at 11PM, parked and walked up to the door, only to have an employee on a smoke break tell me very rudely that the lobby is closed. We had no contact prior to that point. The first words he spoke were ugly. The lobby has been open 24-hours for years, which I am very familiar with because of my work schedule. I tried to point to the sign on the door that says "Lobby Open 24-Hours" and he immediately said that's for the drive thru only. I knew that to not be true, but just turned around and left. If you have the ability to go ANYWHERE else, please do. Management needs to make a change because this place is ridiculous.

Update: Tried again. Friday night 11:20 PM, door locked. Sign still says lobby open 24 hours....

I honestly despise coming to this McDonald's because there's going to always be some bs! The last time I came my food was forgotten after 30 + min of being pulled up now I get blatant unprofessionalism. Recently I had to get my wisdom teeth extracted and wanted a milkshake. I can't use a straw so I wanted a spoon. For the last two days I came to get my milkshake and I asked for a spoon instead. The first night the boy in the window has to find me one and left the window open. He's asking for a spoon and I hear multiple girls shouting " A sPoOn? WhY sHe NeEds A sPoOn? ShE oNly Has A mILkShAke!" Baby, it doesn't matter why I need a spoon focus on these people's orders and actually getting them right! The next day, I go back and mind you I only go here because it's close to my job. If there were a closer one I'd go there. I ask again for a milkshake. This time it's a girl at the window I ask for a spoon. She goes looking and again I hear these girls talking about why I need one. I look towards the window and see a heavyset girl say " tell her ass to move up!" She notices me and gets quiet before laughing. The girl at the window comes back and tells me they are out and that I should " try Wendy's" I pull off to them laughing. Go here at your own risk because these kids...

: I arrived at McDonald’s at 11:10 and I made a online order to be picked up at location number four and as I was waiting there was a huge line across Irving around the whole building and first of all when I pulled up the lady said if you want to make a order you need to pull up to the first window because there it’ll be a moment OK so then that’s when I proceeded to make an order through your mobile app or and now they’re telling me that I’m not allowed to pick it up even though I’ve already paid for it and they were the line is still wrapped around the building and they’re saying that I’m gonna have to pick it up through the drive-through OK no problem it’s 1125 and I have called the store maybe five or six times andI don’t know how I’m supposed to pick up my food if the line is not moving even though if I paid for it so I asked for a refund and she said yeah you can go through the app and get your refund but I don’t know where in the app this is very disappointing this is the McDonald’s I always go to I work at the nursing home across the street I’ve never had problems but this this time is absolutely zero satisfaction and I just want...
