I recently visited on June 30, 2023, and ordered the eight-piece chicken and wings. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired.
Firstly, there was a wait of about 15 minutes before our order was ready. While a short wait is usually acceptable, it felt slightly inconvenient considering we were looking forward to enjoying our meal.
When the chicken finally arrived, we were disappointed to find that it was almost burnt. It seemed as though it had been left in the fryer for too long, resulting in a charred and overcooked appearance. Regrettably, we only noticed the extent of the issue when we got home.
What followed was even more unfortunate. Three of us decided to proceed with eating the chicken despite its appearance, and to our dismay, all three of us became sick for the next two days. Given that this was the only food we consumed together, it strongly suggests that the chicken from Popeyes was the cause of our food poisoning.
Needless to say, this experience has left a lasting negative impression, and we have decided that it will be our last time getting chicken from this particular location. The burnt chicken and subsequent food poisoning have greatly impacted our trust in the quality and safety of the food provided.
We sincerely hope that Popeyes takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Food safety should always be a top priority, and customers should be able to rely on the quality and hygiene standards upheld by the establishment.

I was deceived as they notified me that they had to drop more chicken and that it would take 10 minutes. I responded with “I’ll wait”. The chicken was overcooked and dry, and the overall flavor was bland at best. It was as if they had assembled it hours ago and left it sitting under a heat lamp to wither away. Read moreI encountered an employee named Tenia. We waited a long time before we arrived at the intercom ( which I didn’t mind, because I was waiting to kill time before my appointment). When I arrived at the intercom I said hello, and I honestly thought they were closed because I saw a car leave in front of me, and no answer at the intercom.
The Associate Tenia was so nasty, unprofessional, and rude. She stated that she could place my order at the window. However, I told her, I had been waiting, and she never said anything in the intercom. If she would have said “I will take your order soon” I would have continued to wait. I already waited 20 minutes, so to wait a little longer, would not have been a problem. But she never said anything in the intercom. She was completely rude and nasty speaking to me.
I asked her why she had a nasty attitude, and closed the window in my face. She became real irate and and started yelling, cursing, & calling me all these names. She than came outside and started cursing and yelling so loud in front of all the customers, like she wanted to fight. I almost started to call the police in her, but I felt sorry for her. I have never experienced such craziness in my life. Next time, I’ll just go to Chick Fila.
