Please DO NOT support this business. For a place that charges just under $20 for two drinks, youād expect them to treat their customers like valid human beings. I recently went to grab two quick lattes because my girlfriend really likes them despite their outrageous prices. Their hours state that they close at 4:00 PM, and I arrived promptly at 3:40. As I was walking up to the door, the young lady working there with the pink hair saw me and locked the doors. She then ran into their back room, clearly knowing I was there trying to make a quick order.
I completely understand businesses donāt like when people show up near closing, as it could possibly delay the close. However, this was not 5-10 minutes before close, but a full 20 minutes! This is also the second time that this exact situation has happened, with the business closing their doors well before their close time.
The employees there in general have always been unprofessional, unfriendly, dismissive, and rude in all of the other times Iāve been there. I normally would love to support a small business, but I have given way too many chances to Allora and will never be going back there again. Save your money and do the same!
Edit: The person responding to these reviews is condescending and gaslighting everyone! There are multiple people who said the exact same thing as me about them closing early, and they are constantly making false excuses instead of owning up to it. I was going to give this place another chance, but after seeing how they communicate with people through here alone is enough to keep me...
Read moreIf you love waiting, getting typecasted, and listening to a lecture on café policies instead of receiving decent customer service, then this is the spot for you.
After an eight-minute wait to be served (because apparently, hiring more than one staff member for the morning rush is too radical an idea), I urgently asked to use the restroom. I was met with a firm noābecause, you know, people apparently try to sneak in and use the facilities without paying. Never mind the fact that Iād already been standing there, patiently waiting for my turn like a decent human being.
I complied, gave my order, and then was still made to wait while they āfound the key.ā At this point, the only thing brewing faster than my coffee was my frustration. When I finally got my order, I was treated to an unnecessary monologue about why their restroom policy existsāas if that was the experience I came for.
The only redeeming factor? The Almond Joy Latteāironically the only thing in this place that didnāt leave a bitter taste in my mouth. Too bad I wonāt be back to order it.
Final verdict: If customer service came first instead of tedious explanations and bathroom-gatekeeping, this place might actually be enjoyable. Until then, Iāll take my business somewhere that values customers as much as they value...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was dining at colony grill few nights ago and I saw this really nice looking coffee place and decided to give it a try today. We went in and order an iced caramel latte and a single shot macchiato. The place is overpriced , 8$ for the iced caramel latte. The menu prices donāt match the prices that we were charged and nobody made us aware of that until my wife saw that we were charged more than the prices that were listed in the menu. When I asked the girl in the counter why the prices are different she told us because that Iced latte is more expensive that hot latte , not sure why would we pay extra 2$ for ice. At this moment a lady that was making the coffees says that she was the owner and the prices have changed and the menu is not updated. That is not cool, she should of mentioned it fright away the prices and not try to āscamā costumers. Than I asked for some white sugar and they didnāt have any, which I donāt understand how a coffee place donāt have a white sugar. My personal experience was not good and I donāt think I will be back. I suggest trying some other coffee place around the...
