McDonald's — Restaurant in Norwalk

Super slow service like 19 minutes to order 4 meals. Food was room temp when I got it, fries were cold. Food looked like is was literally thrown in the bag. Service was horrible, they did not have straws stocked I had to fill my own drinks cuz they forgot them. Took them a full 9 minutes to acknowledge I was even at the cash register to ask for something. They were fully (10-15 people working) staffed only had one drive-thru Lane open still slow service. Went in and manager was complaining about people complaining. Several people came in around the same time I came in to complain about their orders items missing and such.

MANAGEMENT: Dude we're paying around $10 for fast food speeds at the expense of quality. If I'm paying restaurant prices and not getting my fast food speeds but getting worse then fast food quality, what's the point of going there? I can just go to a restaurant pay the same price and get better service and food for around the same amount of time and money spent.

Strongly recommend McDonald's do something about this maybe train your manager a little bit better so he is aware of his unprofessional behavior and lack of management skills.

If you have another McDonald's near you go to that one this one's trash until the management changes.

The Good: AWESOME mobile app & curbside pickup experience! I wanted to try McD mobile app so I ordered an iced coffee via the app and went to a curbside parking stall to pick up the drink. 5 mins later, a Crew member came out, greeted, checked the name on the order and handed me the drink. I didn't have to get in a line, didn't have to go inside the store, and skipped all the cars that were waiting in the Drive Thru line. What a superb operational execution by McD team! Why would anyone order inside the store or drive thru when we have a better system now?! The App also gives u discounts and promos for first downloading it and to encourage its usage. It also gives u Reward points to redeem for free items. $1 Spend = 100 points. Reedeem 1500 points for a free Ice Cream cone. Service: Thumbs Up at this location. Friendly Crew and greeting, unlike some other McD's I've been to. Food: Typical clean quality and consistency u can expect from McD's. The Bad: Wait time.Took over 5 mins to bring out one coffee but I was there during the busy lunch time. Longer-than-desired wait time was expected whether I ordered inside, Drive-Thru or Curbside so I won't dock a Star. Conclusion: Highly recommend downloading and using the App! This McDonald's location is great to take your kids for food, refreshments, and some playtime. Their Playplace is great! You can eat and let your kids go around free and still have a visual of where they are. It's safe for toddlers because doors are not easy to open. When any exit door does open there is a ringing chime that lets you know the door is opening from inside. Easily alerting the parent to keep an eye on your kid. There is no acces from anyone coming from out side and opening the door, the only way is from inside. To me this is great, it allows no strangers to pass your site. I love watching my kids play here. And the fact that there are other kids, it makes it even better for developing their social skills. Of course this was all before Covit-19 happend.
