California Sushi & Teriyaki — Restaurant in Norwalk

Just want to start by saying what a horrible customer service they have. Food is good but their service is lousy! I used to like this place 4 years when I had recently moved to Norwalk. The staff was great, but now they have a guy as a cashier who is totally rude. I went in there with my family around 8:10pm (knowing they close at 9:00) we new we had to rush it but not as rush as this guy wanted us out. We pretty much where told to leave because it was 9:00pm. He said something like this: "We are closed now, we close at 9:00" pretty much emphasizing "leave now". There was no "please" or maybe something like "if you need anything else please let me know, as our kitchen staff will be close in 5 min", or even attempted to say anything nicer. I don't know if management asked them to do this or what but definitely not the way to treat customers. The lady in the front is also very hostile, bad mood, no manners, serving food with a powdy face. It definitely wasn't like that before. Hope they do something quick about their staff because I could see other bad reviews coming their way, and not to mention another couple that was there who said "thank you" as they where leaving and these two staff people didn't even...

We don't live near by, but the Las time we were here was 3 years ago. We had to go somewhere nearby when i searched for q place to eat and this was on the map. I am so glad we stopped here because this place is so so good.

Besides the prices being great, the food is so worth it. They have many options to choose from and everything we have tried so far is amazing! Flavors are on point and serve you well.

I ordered Norwalk Roll and it was so delicious, and spicy tuna roll. Everything taste so expensive it's so good must try. My husband ordered the Beef Ramen and it was also so good, the smokey taste of the beef made the Ramen taste so good.

The atmosphere feel like it good be better, and i say that because the food is so good.

I was feeling like eating ramen today and my friend brought me here to California Sushi and Teriyaki. As I walked in I could see how clean this place is, I also enjoy the music they had playing. It was a mixture of classic and alternative Rock. Well in this visit I had a combo #89 Ramen and golden crunch roll, I ask for spicy beef flavor 😋 the Ramen soup had a very good tasty flavor, the beef was sweet and very soft and tender. I believe they use the same beef from the teriyaki bowl. Now when it comes to the Golden Crunch roll don't expect to be just like the one you get when you go the a Japanese restaurant but never the less is good sushi.
