Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Norwalk

Today, while visiting with family members, we were in search of a pizza place where we could dine in. Truly on a fluke recommendation provided by Siri (thank you, Siri!) we ended up here. All I can say is, wonderful! The counter service was attentive, kind, and professional, and the table delivery was equally positive!

The variety of choices is very intriguing. However, our group went with the traditional pepperoni with some additional toppings. It was, hands down, one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Lots of cheese, generous toppings, and cooked perfectly. Now, I cannot wait to go back and try some of their more unique creations!

In addition, the location is very, very clean (even the restrooms), and the overall atmosphere is really pleasant. I was with two relatives who have some physical and cognitive challenges, and we have had to endure rude or dismissive behavior at other restaurants whose staff are unkind to people who are "different." Not here; in fact, quite the opposite. All three staff with whom we interacted were very nice, and the gentleman whom I took to be the manager even took the time to check in with us, then later helped me by holding the door while I managed my relative's wheelchair. That kindness, in addition to a really delicious meal, speaks volumes, and we will definitely be back.

I did not eat in, and the order was difficult over the phone because they were literally training the new staff. However, this is the BEST pizza around. I even like it better than Angelino's. I won't be ordering my pizza any where else but Mountain Mike's going forward. I was so excited to see Mountain Mike's had come to Norwalk, I have had it in Truckee up by Northstar, and then they got one in Walnut Creek which is where I am from. Best pizza I’ve ever eaten! Better than Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, and even California Pizza kitchen. What I think stood out the most was that the pizza is made of real mozzarella cheese. I never seen any place that puts so much pepperoni on a pizza. It’s definitely a great experience to bring a loved one since they have heart shaped pizzas for valentines. For meat lovers I recommend the Everest and they can also do half half on toppings.
