I am so done with this place when it comes to online ordering for takeout. The last four of five orders I’ve placed have been wrong (so why did I go back so many times? My husband likes it and doesn’t care if the order isn’t right). Here’s the latest. See photo – where’s the tzatziki? Where’s the garlic cream? And then there’s the issue of picking up. Orders are kept on a counter and God forbid that you should walk over and take the bag with your name on it. Do so and the staff will yell from across the room as though you’ve stolen your food (keep in mind – they do not ask for an ID). Touch the bag with your name on it, and you will be scolded for touching the bags. No, you are required to wait until they have no in-store customers and can hand your bag to you (the mobile app encourages you to visit and counter and take your order). And then there’s the language barrier. Once, I had to argue with them that my name was actually the name on the receipt stapled to the bag. I’m not the one with the accent, by the way. If they are so concerned that people are stealing food, then keep those bags behind the counter and require an ID (unlike every other restaurant with online ordering/takeout). These people have become rude and consistently inaccurate....
Read moreGave 4 star to food when it should have been 5 stars! Just visited this highly rated place. Very nice effort and ambiance for this quick grab place - and I feel for the owners - the service is cold and underwhelming (it's not the folks there who are generally good), but may be the late afternoon time we visited (and for the 1st time). Food was so cold and hard - most of it went waste unfortunately. So how could this be 5 star with that. Every business is hard work and I appreciate having them in the vicinity - clearly the idea is very good with wine and other choices. My suggestions for owners - keep food slightly warm (and do not serve icy cold hard falafel bricks) and folks at the counter (though likely kids) should rather have grown ups who understand the business and are somewhat passionate. You have a nice place and will add so much value to everyone who visits. But if food is served cold - no amount of other positive effort will help. I hope to go there again couple more times - hopefully I'll be there at a good time and change my...
Read moreWhat a perfect restaurant! Delicous food, kind and cheerful staff and the whole place is so clean. My family is a tough one to feed. We are a mix- -one vegetarian, one vegan and two happy carnivores. At Simple Greek each of us always gets a delicous meal. My favorite is the thick Greek yogurt and Greek honey with fresh strawberries. My Vegie family members have a heaping rice bowl with lentils, green beans, potatoes and lots of yummy cucumber salad and humus. My carnivore daughter is a fan of the white meat chicken which she dips in the garlic sauce. (And my dogs love the leftovers if there are any).
I’m not a fan of cooking (nor am I good at it). The family who own and run Simple Greek are happy to help! They’re kind, professional and welcoming. The food is plentiful, quick, reasonably priced and there are enough choices that even though we come here regularly, no one is ever bored. Thank you...
